Your underappreciated player of 2011.

Kyle Kosier. Can't have steak on every plate but he's nicely prepared hamburger. When he is out, the drop off is clear.

Just for comparison with the best safeties in the NFL:

Gerald Sensabaugh- 5INT, 8PD, 2SK

Ed Reed- 8INT, 16PD, 0SK

The man had a really nice

If i'm not mistaken Ed missed 6 games cause he started on the PUP list

Jason Witten. I can't believe how many "fans" have told me we should trade him or that he is in a decline.

Offense: Tony Romo. Guy got knocked down, shoulder broke, and his first concern was if the pass he just threw was completed. Then after trainers' initial eval of him, he wanted back in the game, until they finally shut him down. After all that, his leadership is being questioned. That spells underappreciated with a capital STUPID!

Defense: Bradie James, hands down. In 2009 the defense played great and he he led the team in tackles. everyone but James got the credit. In 2010 the defense blew and he still led the team in tackles. Players all around him deservedly got the blame but him. While that seems fair because he does not deserve any of the blame for the 2010 collapse, he was mainly not mentioned because he's always somehow the forgotten man on D. He was one of the defensive bright spots, yet you wouldn't even konwit because he still got no cred. If underappreciated were a person, his mane would be Bradie James.

Special Teams: Matt McBriar. Guy just does his job consistently. He's invisible; he's never spoken about, which is a testament to his solid play. Underappreciated by many; not by me.

I'd go with Bradie James. He does all of the dirty work that the other ILB doesn't want to do (doesn't make a different who the ILB is, they don't want to have to stonewall blockers down after down) and he's pretty good against the run, serviceable in short zone coverage and he's a true leader.

My problem with Sensabaugh is that he doesn't communicate well and gets out of position too much. If we had a Ryan Clark type at FS, our safety play would improve dramatically because he would get Sensy in place every down.

Offense- Romo or Witten. Either or there.

Defense- I'll go Bradie James. The guy just never really gets credit for being a really solid football player.

You could also make mention of Free on offense and Spears on defense.

Tony Romo.

Yes I'm serious.
This. I see more people rag on Romo.

A lot of people tend to forget franchise quarterbacks dont grow on trees.
