You're Jerry Jones and you have a coach that is unsure of what he wants to do.

You have an offense that is far off from being superbowl caliber.

You have a defense that is looking good, but is still a few players away.

You have no true place kicker.

Your punter is talented, but is inconsistant.

Your best punt returner is your best corner.

Your receiving core is just too old and slow.

Your Offensive Line is horrible at best.

Your assistant coaches are not getting it done.

Your fans are ticked off, and you need to get them pumped up for next year.

Again, you're Jerry Jones. What would you do from top to bottom?

I'd wait until after the Super Bowl, find out what my head coach's intentions are.

If he wants to leave, fire the entire coaching staff as well. Find a formidable head coach. No re-treads.

Trade Ellis, Glover, LA, Keyshawn, Glenn, Rivera, Bledsoe ... for whatever we can get. Peanuts if that's what it takes.

Ditch anyone over 30 other than Flo.

Rehaul the OL. Get mid-grade FA's ... tons of them.

Open the QB competition. Draft one in the first round if a quality caliber player is there. See what Washington wants for Ramsey.

Draft: WR, OL, FS, LB

DO NOT bring in TO.

For me, I would schedule a meeting with Parcells by Monday and demand a decision about his future here.

If he wants to go one more year, I'm fine with it.
Now I'm Parcells...
I would fire Zimmer and hire Capers.
I would get another OLine coach.
I would possible look into making a deal for T.O.
I would try and get Lecharles Bentley in FA
I would try and get one of 3 kickers in FA, if not I would draft one and pick up 2 in FA and let them battle it out.
I would eat one of two contracts. Either LA or Rivera - Considering I ditch LA, I would move Gurode to LG.
I would bench Tucker and Petitti
I would cut Campbell
I would send Henson/Romo to Europe, and then would give everyone of them a chance to battle for the starting role equally.
I would seriously consider moving Keyshawn out. We have a keyshawn in Crayton.
I would have Ferguson battle it out with a drafted DT
Ware would gain about 5 to 10 pounds (without losing speed)
I would draft or find a FA ILB and OLB.
I would trade both Glover and Ellis. Ellis for picks and Glover for a player or vice versa
I would make RW lose a little weight for speed. Better FS play will truly help RW's game, he could come closer to the line without helping so much in coverage.
I would send Davis back to special teams and a backup FS/SS
I would see what Beriault has and draft or get a FS in FA. Justin B and the others will battle it out for FS.
Fujita will go to the bench.
Singleton would be cut.
I would consider picking up Abraham in FA and teach him the OLB position.
I would work on McBriar's mental preperation and toughness for pressure kicks.

Draft - DT/RT/C/FS/ILB/QB/WR/G

I would fire Zimmer and the oline coach.
Hire Capers and another oline coach (obviously)
I would sell the fans on TO or the fact that we have a championship defense.

I think that every team needs to have a guy in the front office who isn't part of the ownership.

Sounds like a plan. Are you available for GM duties?

And then the real NFL would come calling and you'd realize all that can't be done in one season.

Last year, more was done. New coordinators, new scheme, new dline, more running depth, key FA signings including (Henry/Glenn - you hit on 2 miss on 2, nice average) Tons of new starters including Davis/Williams at SS/Ware/James/Shanle/Fujita/Ferguson/Canty/Spears/Bledsoe/Polite/Tucker-Petitti (unfortunately)Rivera/ tons of kickers....
That's alot of moves (mainly changing the entire defensive philosophy)

After Sunday's game, Jerry kept hinting at major changes coming, but that he was very pleased with Parcells and that we "all" know what an oustanding job he has done and how he is a "great" coach.

Jerry then reinforced the fact that we have a lot of flexibility under the cap and can, essentially, do more this off-season than in years past. That part really caught my attention, especially after last season's overhaul.

I think Jerry was also saying one or both of our coordinators could be going to HC jobs in college or the pros.

Major changes encompasses so much.

Exactly, you can't tell me that we can't add the final pieces to a SuperBowl caliber team this offseason. - that's what FA was designed for, let's get er done Jurrah.

Jerry couldn't find the final pieces to finish a 25 piece jigsaw puzzle :D He needs to hire a real GM and let them finish the puzzle.....
