I have to figure out what to do for in market games since I don't have cable...need a legal option, can I just stream the networks? Or do I have to get cable
You can get the NFL App… you won’t even need the NFL+ for the games shown in your market. Just the NFL App. They show all local and nationally televised games for free.

I’ve watched all Dallas games on my iPad for a few years now. It is the only way I watch them unless it is a get together… which I don’t like because people just interrupt the game.

You can stream it to a TV from your phone/tablet if you’d rather watch it there.

Legal as hell. No chance of a virus and as long as you have a good internet connection… it works flawlessly.

Interesting, so I could get any prime time game on it? Can I download the app to tv or do I have to cast it?

I’ve never tried to put it on a TV… but you probably can.

They show the locally shown games at noon and 3:15 (central time) on sundays. They always show Sunday night, Monday night, and Thursday night games. Always.

Basically, if you can get a game on your local cable, you’ll be able to watch it on the NFL App. If the game is blacked out in your area… you will not get it on the app either.

The app is (as you might expect) a polished well done app. I have a killer internet connection (GB fiber) but the app has never even buffered during a game. It works flawlessly. I absolutely recommend it.

Yeah I’ve been using the app for the past few years. Convenient and cheap lol. I might upgrade for the Redzone, haven’t decided.

If you wanted to pay the $14.99 per month for the NFL+ on the app, you will also get the Redzone channel, the NFL Network and replays of all games (both whole game and condensed version) after the game is over. You also will get the all 22 for every game.

As big of a football fan as I am, the $15 per month is very much worth it. The NFL Network has some pretty good programming in the mornings (Good Morning Football is great), and around the draft, they have tons of content.

I have NFL+ for $14.99 per month and they have Redzone included there (along with NFL Network as well). So if someone just wants Redzone, $15 per month is much better than the ST.

As for watching Dallas, I live near New Orleans and the vast majority of the Cowboys games are televised here (which will also be live on NFL+ as long as they are shown locally). They pretty much broadcast Dallas here as long as they don’t play at the same time on the same channel as the Saints. That, along with getting any nationally televised game (Sunday, Monday, and Thursday games as well as thanksgiving day games) enables me to watch almost all of them. The couple that aren’t shown around here, I just stream from one of the sites online.

Those are good options.

Living near Philly. About 14 games per year of the cowboys are televised. Usually 2-3 that aren’t.

That being said. When the eagles are good, I hate being stuck watching them.

So Sunday ticket has been a god send for me, allowing me to watch other matchups than be subjected to watching the eagles win.

If the eagles are struggling I can watch the local game though. Lol

Streameast. No pop-ups try it on a preseason game.

It is awesome. I have a 12.9” iPad. On the app, the games are crystal clear and work so well. I love it.

I’ve done streameast. It lagged and shut off in the middle of the game, where I would have to re-navigate to the site again. It is ok for games I can’t get any other way, but…

If he just wants what is shown in his area, why on earth wouldn’t he just get the NFL app? No problem, it is free, and you don’t have to worry about malicious software or viruses.

Truth is 90% of the Cowboys games are going to be on regular TV. At least it has been that way for me over the past few years with the NFL package. The couple years I didn't have it I just went to a bar... spent way less.

Yeah, if Dallas isn’t on at the time, I’ll watch the Washington, NY, or Philly games if I can. Always better rooting against them than watching some random AFC Matchup.

Having said that, the ticket would be nice if you want to pay it. There is usually a game or two on that is a great matchup to watch. I had it for a while a few years ago, and it was nice. Still… watching the Dallas games live is my priority, and I can almost always do that with the NFL app.

What happened to the days we could just twist some long thin cylindrical telescoping metal around and get the game ?

That is region specific and far from the "truth".

It seems to work better with Verizon gigabyte. But I know what you mean. I find it still better than missing it. I have the NFL app. I have NFL Sunday ticket for 10 seasons or more. This is the second year I haven’t had it, but I found all the ways.

Being on a tight budget, I was excited about the monthly payment plan. Until I realized that living in NY, we are 1 of 7 states that are not being offered the monthly plan. Oh well. No Sunday ticket for me.
Its ridiculous what they want folks to pay. Try Hulu. Go to Hulu.com . They offer it with the Hulu live deal. Its 65 a month here where I am. U get NFL network etc and should have access to the games. Cheaper than anything else.
