Surely I'm not paying 299 to watch Football, They charge enough just for cable...
bahahahhahahahhahahahaahhahhaahha..... 299 for 17 weeks of Cowboys games (even though 9 of those are likely on anyways) plus any other game you want to watch. Thats is 17.58 per week. A BARGAIN for all a football fan gets out of it. A bank breaker for those that just like to whine they have to pay for anything.

NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube: Monthly payment option and a student rate are coming

The package starts at a discounted $299 for YouTube TV subscribers and $399 for non-subscribers, with a number of payment plans to choose from

Ahead of the kickoff of the NFL season, YouTube announced some updates about its NFL Sunday Ticket service including monthly payment options for subscribers in 43 states.

The Google-owned YouTube TV live streaming service won the rights to NFL Sunday Ticket in December, outbidding Amazon and ESPN. Historically carried by satellite service DirecTV since it launched in 1994, the programming package brings out-of-market regular season NFL games to viewers.

Most customers will see an option for a monthly payment plan when they sign up for NFL Sunday Ticket, according to a Wednesday blog post written by Courtney Lessard, group product manager for NFL Sunday Ticket and YouTube Primetime Channels.

"We will be rolling this out over the next week on both YouTube and YouTube TV, so hang tight if you don’t see it yet," Lessard said in the blog post.

Boy are you clueless. You think GOOGLE, which owns youtube is desperate?????
And many couldnt afford it when it was with Directv... nothing new.
Know what, enjoy to your hearts content. Glad its not my money . Grasshopper Im far from clueless. Nice try. All those companies u mention are ridiculously expensive. YT has now joined the ranks. It isnt new, but sucks still. But hey, spend that $. Its America.

If you think GOOGLE/Youtube is desperate, you are clueless. Google is one of the biggest companies in the world.... they are many things, but desperate is not one.

Yep and I get to cut that price in half. I was discussing with the wife about getting a VPN for YouTube TV and giving them a Dallas address for the local channels there. She said...What about my Packers games?

Yes I married a Packers fan. The good news is that with the Sunday Ticket I figure, from your number above, it only cost me $8.79/week for my Cowboys games. Of course the wife is also paying $8.79/week for her Packers games.

I know it's the same overall price, but somehow it just makes me feel like we are getting a better value since we are using it for 2 teams.

I will stick to my high quality "other" options that cost me nothing.

Give me the option to buy individual games at a reasonable price and then I am on board.

You can get the NFL App… you won’t even need the NFL+ for the games shown in your market. Just the NFL App. They show all local and nationally televised games for free.

I’ve watched all Dallas games on my iPad for a few years now. It is the only way I watch them unless it is a get together… which I don’t like because people just interrupt the game.

You can stream it to a TV from your phone/tablet if you’d rather watch it there.

Legal as hell. No chance of a virus and as long as you have a good internet connection… it works flawlessly.

I don't have cable/streaming live tv as I never watch anything live other than sports. Just had been doing the signup with the cheapest streaming provider during the NFL/NHL seasons.
But if all I need is the NFL APP to watch that's pretty cool. I guess all they need is location on to figure out what your local games are?

My Verizon internet is 40. I don't have to get the YouTube subscription and can just use the free Sunday ticket
That’s correct. But you have to upgrade to the gigabyte. Or did you not have to?
