Lord, please, NO. After he gets his money, he is going to go back to doing nothing. He shows flashes of his amazing athletic ability, but that is all he has. He IS NOT A FOOTBALL PLAYER. Unless dancing with offensive tackles is what football players do.

Try watching him on every play during a game, and I have a feeling you will change your tune.

I might be wrong, I think I heard Ray say that he hated the 3-4 because he want's the DL to take on the line so he can fly around and make tackles. He would be another Zack Thomas out of position here.

I don't remember when exactly, but it was a Sunday or Monday night game and he was complaining to his coaches about getting double teamed every time when in reality, he was just getting punished by lineman :laugh2:

Even still I would kill for his attitude on this defense.

Tiny bit? Apparently you haven't watched a lick of Ray Lewis this year. He's still got plenty left and he's a fiery leader who would get this defense to play better.

I certainly wouldn't be against Lewis.

As for Thomas, see you around man. This just wasn't a good fit for him and if he's not interested in playing in that role anymore I can't say I blame him, or will shed any tears either, if he leaves.

I found it interesting how he said earlier in the season he wanted to be a leader and take over that role but it just wasn't possible with this group of guys. Zach played okay for us this season, made no big plays but did make some key tackles while here.
