OMG 14-16 Million for a NON-Playmaker G....ouch!!!

About the Wall of Dallas ask Denver and all the 8 in box defenses how effective those millions invested will be???

Get DEFENSE!!!! And let Martin WALK!

We need defense in a bad way

Naw, we can't give up now and switch processes. We are married to this idea that the OL is the path to glory(hole) no matter the cost.
We've been at it for years now with dismal to fair results when we have a last place schedule.
At best we go "one and done" when we make those playoffs.
How about we try going in a different direction like having a good to great DEFENSE!
Off-lineman are important but any good to great defense can shred them to pieces just ask DAK ......and when you consider that we don't have a QB to gut them out when they play 8 in the box 14-16 million for Martin is a Waste of most valuable Cap dollars!
The Experiment has FAILED and winning no 6 with all your cap invested in FAT Off-lineman is a dream boat scenario....

Oh , the reason we persist is ego and the inability of management and the coaching staff to admit they may have been on the wrong path. Heck, Garret won't even change his offensive strategy during a game when it is clear that it is not working. You think he's going to change his process 8 years into it?

These candy arse mellinials care about "feelings" but real men can give two shhhh about them.
? how you came away from that quote with that tantrum is asinine

I hope they can get something worked out that won't hamstring the team. Would hate to lose him, I have him starting alongside Larry Allen in my all-time ☆Cowboys☆great guards.

These players wanting to be paid the highest is not only selfish imo. But shortsighted. If you take all themoney. Then , what happens? Many other good players wind up getting let go. Hard to win superbowl that way. Brady knows this, and took a pay cut and it paid off. John least did the same, and it paid off. The qbs that realize this .will have a better o line, te, rb, and wrs around them. How many million does s person need ? Most ppl. Never make 1m. In a lifetime. That's not being a total team player imo. I'd rather be paid less so others can stay and get paid too. And maybe win a superbowl.

Yes. This is simple logic, but who's going to be first? Players will always say they want to win, but they want to win on their terms, and they usually go to who pays them the most. 40, 60, 100 million, we look at that and say, we're set no matter what, put me on a winning team. They don't look at it that way. Take guys on the franchise tag for example. They'd rather have a long term deal for security. Security? Some of these guys at getting close to 20M for one year. They're already secure!

Zack's smart enough to say all the right things. Still think signing him will be problematic.

It all depends if Stephen wants to put that much cap money on the block. It's a coin flip right now as good guards are available in the
draft every year. Look at the guards available in the 1st round this year. I like Martin but, guards are plentiful in the draft and is not
a "money 5" position.

Well then get used to no SB appearances (23 yrs and counting) as our team will continue to be one lop-sided squad without any reality of a Defense that can stop anyone....
