I'm surprised his name hasn't come up yet. Same age as Gregory. Much more production than Gregory and may cost about the same or less than Gregory. Thoughts?

If we can wait and wait and he doesn't sign thus his price is going down, we will bring him in in a few weeks

I agree, just looked at his stats and he's a beast! It won't take long before we hear of some news we have signed him or someone in the same category.

OK there's this guy yes

Z Smith

and how about others like,

Melvin Ingram
Von Miller
C. Cambell

not sure those are all pure DEs etc but who else am i missing that is equal to or better than Gregory and what will they cost?

I want VON MILLER teaching Micah Parsons rush skills, leadership, and how to win more than a bad division.
whats he going to cost? guestimates? fond it questionable Denver didn't go after him, and instead Gregory, red flag? he said he was interested in returning.

A pass rusher is a pass rusher regardless of scheme. We run more hybrid front anyway. Not strictly a 4-3 front and Marinelli isn’t here to say it’s not a scheme fit.Gregory often rushed standing up.Quinn would make it work.
not sure thats totally true i mean tank and Asmith etc seems to struggle in 2020s schemes. Fish out of water etc

I think something like 2/38 with the same 28 guaranteed as Gregory would probably land Miller.

Smith will be expensive as well and want a longer deal.

Ingram would be much cheaper but you're getting what you pay for.

This draft is deep with edge guys so they will most likely sign Armstrong and roll with Basham for depth and draft a mid round type.

That sounds more like wanting to hang on to status quo rather than improve but that's how they do.

You guys/ gals should know by now that the biggest players we sign are our own. Let's see who is still available after all the "market contracts" are signed. Stephen rarely even talks with agents about players he thinks might cost too much.

Von Miller would kill it here with DLaw and Parsons.

Not to mention the intangibles.

I'd personally go for it and add Wagner also but there's just no way they do it.

For some reason they think that getting over the hump is gonna happen by adding rookies.
