We can all take turns defending or criticizing Zeke, the fact remains he has lost his long speed.

The weight may have helped absorb the pounding he has taken, but Id love to see him recommit to finding the missing gear.

Seriously, did you ever see other players in the off season before they started getting in playing shape? Back in the day, they all used training camp to get in shape and it was nothing for OL to show up 30-35lbs over target weight.

I think Elliott puts on the party weight but as long as he's ready to go when it gets real, that's cool. Now talk about your lard butts, Romo used to look like a pear with that fat butt he was sporting. Let him go 5 days without shaving and he looked like Orson Wells.
