Who holds out with 2 years left on a contract and holds the organization over a fire? If the holdout had occurred after a couple MVP or super bowl winning seasons I would understand a bit more. But that's not how it went down. It was pure greed, nothing else.

Heck with him..... hope he gets cut.
He had no choice but to hold out because of the horrendous treatment of modern day RBs. Reform is due on the payment of RBs, it’s completely unfair to them. This issue of when to pay a RB and what is fair needs a serious examination by the league…

Look at him before the knee injury. He was fast abd explosive. Plus we all know he had power and blocking. He just needs to sit out when hurt I like pollard to avoid putting out bad take. He also needs a better running scheme abd left guard. I predict pollard will diss a pint with more Carrie’s this year and zeke will be fresh in the second half if the year fir the first time in years and play great.
You are gonna get so burned on the spit for this.

The kool kids want to blame just zeke and by GOD they think they are so smart. So cool... in the know.

But they NEVER respond to Tony's 2.5 ypc games late in the season. I don;t blame them. They can;t hate Zeke as much...if they also have to blame tony.

The human ego is SO fragile. We are all snowflakes I guess.

Zeke has value, if you can re-do his contract to make him worth the reduced number of carries. After all, he got 12 rushing tds last year, tied for 3rd in the league. Last I looked, tds are important. And for all of Pollard's good play, he had one td per about 21 rushes, Zeke one per about 19 rushes.

IF he can avoid injury, he's still a better running back than half of the league, even dealing with a knee brace a lot of last year he had some good runs. The ability to get the tough 2-3 yards for first downs is an asset to the team.

He won't ever be the Zeke of 2018 but not many backs are.

It will all come down to the cap, as is often the case....

Two back rotation is here to stay.

Pollards leg is wrecked. He might not even get a contract offer from Jerry before the deadline this Summer.

Zeke has been around 230 rushes the last two seasons.

This helps extend his career.

The #ZekeHate on here is strong.

You'd think Zeke stormed the beaches of Normandy...
Um...almost.

You tell me what other elite, NFL rushing champion running back had to also play offensive lineman and fullback.

You won't respond...you will cower. and hide.

Because there isn't one who did more than Zeke. And you treat him like sheet for it. Curbstomp his teeth.

To be fair...I am still trying to research the stats.....What rb....especially an "elite" #1 NFL rushing champion....has the most blocks. This would include "chips" while still getting handoff or pass. It would have a weight factor for blocking O line or tiny DB. It would include any double blocking....2 or more "chips" "diversions" or "pancakes" on any given play.

How many did Barry Sanders have?

Cower.

He can no longer hold up for a full season. It's Pollard's time now.

I enjoy this positive take on a player who has given his all for this franchise….

RB’s typically don’t have a revival as demanding physically the position is. The RB just isn’t a very mental position. Zeke cannot have a Geno Smith type of comeback one would think. However, didn’t JJ Watt? How much has playing thru injury harmed his reputation? His durability is Emmitt Smith esque and he deserves respect from this fan base….

The real problem is how RBs are being chewed up and spit out because of the nature of the position. Zeke deserved to be paid and I personally resent this newfound mentality that you abuse one of the most important positions on the field and never fairly compensate them. RBs should be exempt from the CAP so that franchises can fairly compensate them….
Giving you your first like. Don't know about your username but hey look at my ridiculous one. Zeke is done. I respect what he accomplished but as a franchise, you have to move on. If you really want to win that is. Welcome to the board man! Cowboy Roy is about to eviscerate you.

Pollards time...to get blasted by so called fans. Over paid. Can;t live up the contract.

You put tony's head on the shopping block pretty easily.

Tony has BARELY held up for a season as a part timer. It is surely HIS time now to be a scapegoat.

Wow. The disrespect for Zeke here is amazing. Dude really sacrificed his body for us. He played hurt and at times was only in to provide great pass protection ... something hardly any #1 backs do anymore.

Y'all angry about his hold out? Seems like RBs got no choice after year three because if the team sits on them they may be done after the 5th year option is up.
I am angry that Jerry overpaid a TB when the evidence showed teams rarely get the ROI from spending on that position.
