Our future looks bright with Dak and Zeke.

What's sad is presently our young talented up and coming team is still dependent on what looks like the most fragile starting QB in NFL.

It's going to be interesting to see how this season unfolds and if the powers that be have the strength and wisdom to make the difficult choices that might be necessary or if a potential controversy may simply take a natural course.

Good news is we appear to have an answer or solution.

Green stinks buddy. You need to rewatch everything and rewind the plays. Just because a guy doenst get beat EVERY play doesn't qualify as holding his own.
Green played really well. Wore down some late in the game but has improved each game. He wasn't terrible at all more like solid. He played better then Free

Green needs reps. Not sure he is really ready but basically he is a rookie and playing about how a rookie will play
Zeke was very impressive and plays with an attitude that will infect the offense and spread like the flu
Dak has been amazing. Throwing well but more importantly reading well
Very poised and appears to be a guy who will be a good leader
The odds of going from a great QB to another great QB is very low and if we have pulled that off then that's something very special

5. Wilcox is the worst safety I have EVER seen. Him and Heath together is like a open door.
Have you seen Jacques Reeves play?
I think Zeke needs to learn how to NOT TRY and run people over every down or he'll have a shorter career than we need him to.

Yah, I agree on Zeke. But I think he wanted to make a statement. I loved it personally.

NO biggie, we just see two completely different things. You gloss over the bad plays and focus on only the plays he has no issues. I see a guy that if he had to play would probably give up 4 sacks a game and 3 or 4 holding penalties.

And how can you gloss over conditioning? NO big deal? Seems more like he has been this way even in college. Played only part time. So now we have to hope he turns his life around too?
I have game recorded from last night....you watch 77 play his 3 series....then you come back here & tell me how many whiffs he had in those 3 drives and I'll see where your assessment stands.....

I have watched already. And I will watch again. The guy is slow and sub par no question. He will get any QB killed. I am entitled to my opinion. If you like to think they guy is an all pro by all means have at it.

Tyrone?

Im not sure that it would matter. IF it was bad he is just rusty. Guy is already an all pro. If it was good, then par for the course. What is your angle there?

I'm not a fan of Green at all. I want to him gone and someone else bought in that can bridge the gap between him and a decent back up. Then again I don't like Free, he's a weak link..even on an average line. in my opinion.

Free is the weak link, but you cant have it all. Not a bad weak link. And I hear he is the emotional leader of the line.

79 1st series
1st play- stone wall past protection
2nd-run block with back to run side, quick to set his feet
3rd-looked as if run option that went wrong but he had his guy on outside pass rush
4th-outside pass rush with twist at end he had his guy until late twist
5th-bad kick-step got knocked on his butt by DE, was quick pass that LB blitzed & hit dak

We are not that far off. I see a guy that was a waste of a 3rd round pick thus far and has a loooooong way to go before he can ever be anyting close to quality starter. What do I care if the guy can become a serviceable backup.

Pretty much everyone in Dallas, including the coaching staff and local experts that used to be scouts, believe Chaz Green has played very well in the preseason until his lack of conditioning kicks in.

He's coming off injury. He can get in shape. He's definitely had his good moments. When he gets tired, he's awful.

You know, Sarge asked you guys to lay off. I asked you guys to be civil. Now I'm telling you guys, knock it off. We can drive on and continue to post in this thread or I can close it and start sending folks to the Bench. You guys figure out what you want to do. I can go either way here.

Not enough good moments in my opinion. And I have seen a lot of horrid moments. And since when is a guy getting tired not a major issue? Why isnt this slob in shape? He had a whole year to get in shape? What good is a guy that is middling when not tired and horrid when tired?

I hated the pick and he has done nothing to change my view. And your statement that local EXPERTS and coaching staff all like him is kinda funny. All they really say is that he has shown improvement. And that is from the horrid showing in the first game against Miami. He could ONLY go up from there.

But I would be happy to read any article where it talks about him playing well. Please forward. I fully admit I am biased when it comes to this guy.
