Sounds like one of those 'if Romo had done this' threads. If Dak and Zeke look unprepared and get whipped in New York, they will get criticism just like Romo did.

What exactly do we need to be disappointed about? They were at a club enjoying themselves and there were no reported incidents of them causing trouble.

If people are going to praise dak for throwing a gatorade cup in the garbage then it seems pretty fair if they are disappointed he is doing this while already having a DUI the week of the biggest game.
Because he was found not guilty. So stop referring to him having a DUI. OTOH Romo and Co did lose that game to NY.

It's cute that people think this is the first time they have been partying during this winning streak. I'm pretty sure the 70's Cowboys and 90's Cowboys Super Bowl teams partied plenty. What matters is that they stay focused, practice hard, watch film, and win on Sunday.

why do people keep referencing cabo? Witten, romo and carpenter took their girlfriends(wives) for an overnight to relax, the friday night after practice and returned to the facility on sunday to get back to prep for the game the following sunday. Wade phillips told every player to get away for the weekend and come back refreshed monday. Marcus spears went fishing, terrance newman went to kansas to visit family. etc..

they had a bye week and went fri night to sunday morning. They weren't with hookers and drugs or whatever.

This is nothing like cabo and cabo had zero affect on the loss to NY.

This is the monday night of the biggest game of the week and not for nothing but the qb already has a dui and the running back is skating on thin ice after this summer. Two totally different situations.

If people are going to praise dak for throwing a gatorade cup in the garbage then it seems pretty fair if they are disappointed he is doing this while already having a DUI the week of the biggest game.

Who knows? Why do we reference the liquor store clerk?

TMZ is the worst thing that could happen to sports and entertainment industry. Anytime one of them steps out, we have to see and hear about it.

If an incident happened, then ok. But nothing happened at all. Nothing illegal going on. They weren't breaking any team rules either. What is the issue here? I chuckle at people don't realize these players are human beings. They go out in public and do things we do. They eat out at restaurants, they like to party, etc. People get videos of these guys doing normal activities and then TMZ actually buys this footage and posts it as a story.

Sorry but these are not your average 23 and 21 year olds they have to be careful. I was once 20 many moons ago and liked to party!!! They made a movie out of me you might have heard about it "Saturday Night Fever"
Haha, it's not like they're seen there every night, it's one night out.

ok. So I see where you stand. Romo cost Dallas the playoff game because of one night stay in cabo 9 nights before the game.

Cool. have a good one.
LOL. Relax, I love Tony too. I get what you're saying that his Cabo trip didn't cost us the game. But his team did lose, so the results are what they are. But the thing is Dak and Co have us on a 11 winning streak. We should secure the homefield throughout the playoffs if not this week the next one depending of what happens with Seattle and Detroit. Just sit back and enjoy the ride while it lasts. By the way I've always enjoyed your posts in the past. Like I said, I love Tony also, but this is magic what we're witnessing.

So why does Romo and Witten going to Cabo get criticized on their time off?

Please tell me what is different.
It's not
Those criticizing then were wrong...way wrong....they had an entire week off with valley ranch even closed to the players for a few days....and only went a couple of days .
Probably less media and fan stress there than in Dallas. lol. Plus, it's not like those guys are big partiers anyway. 90% of the team probably partied harder in Dallas or wherever they went anyway. It was SO dumb to make anything of it...but the press ate it up. If the team had won, it'd have gone away. Perception.

But those criticizing now are wrong as well. It was Monday night. The next game is not until Sunday. Let them blow off some steam.

I do think the players just need to be aware that they will be filmed wherever they are. That's all.
