Zeke decision delayed for Jerry's HoF week?

Wouldn't Jerry be pissed off anyway with the 24/7 sports story that the lead independent investigator is a Huge Giants Fan with season tickets?

I've seen this case discussed on a couple of shows.(First Take and Training Camp Live) Neither mention the fact that the police know the alledged victim tried to coerce her friend into lying about what happened.

Is this something that not everyone knows?

Seems like this is an important part of this investigation and it's not being discussed except here.

I think you are right. The talking heads never bring up those points about the ex. At best they might mention police not prosecuting because of inconsistent statements by the ex, not the fact she lied and tried to get a friend to lie as well.

Apparently Goodell is waiting on four outside advisors to finish their reports and it won't be this week.

They will announce it the week prior to week 1... Mara has this planned out.

Mara is Jeff Dunham, Gooddell is Peanut. Enough said.

I don't think Jerry induction should have anything to do with this. reports were last week that the investigation was complete I think Zeke deserves to know his fate regardless of anything else taking place.

I don't think he will get a suspension. If by chance they do I fully expect the NFLPA and Zeke to protest this. NFLPA seems to be willing and ready to jump on this once the league comes down with a ruling.

I fully expect a suspension and Zeke to appeal the suspension. This would let him play in the opening game and the suspension to be reduced and served at a later time. Bet it takes all season and they try and keep him out of a playoff game.

I don't think it matters when/if a suspension is announced. It doesn't sound like Zeke and Jerry will accept it without a fight.

At this point, it's becoming an embarrassment for Goodell and the NFL. Unlike previous DV allegations, many in the media who slammed Josh Brown, Greg Hardy, and Ray Rice are now starting to slam Goodell for looking for something that isn't there.

Close the investigation and move on, Roger. And if something else surfaces, deal with it. It's the NFL - the unwashed masses will forget all about "new evidence" the absolute moment the next game kicks off in whatever week some crap came to light -- and that's me just talking on the assumption that the NFL's fears were realized!
