I feel you but we're getting into playoffs territory pretty soon. I was almost willing to concede getting him back for the playoffs but to your point as confident as I am in the team, there may be no playoffs without him with the stretch ahead.

I feel the same. Unless they think they have a really good shot of punting this to next season, then they have to be careful. If the logic is delaying one week, he plays vs Chiefs and misses Raiders now, I suppose that is a good swap.

As others have said, shame if he plays the next few, we make the playoffs then he's unavailable.

This is exciting but a little aggravating at the same time.

It has to be hard to prepare your team appropriately when you operate without knowing if your best player is going to be available or not.

We also will be put in a position where if for some reason his legal relief fails and the timing is such it may impact where we are in the course of the season.

Say he finally runs out of lives the final week of the season? Would the suspension be enforceable for the postseason?

This is what I'm fearing but I do agree that you live for today in this scenario. Only thing that matters right now is beating KC.

Just delayed a week. I don't think there's any way he wins. The NFL has rigged the process.

If the suspension truly is inevitable for this season. I would rather it happen after this game.

We may need Zeke to beat the Chiefs...if he misses the Raiders game instead, I feel confident we can win that one.

I'm excited but also torn... this week to week is bad for the team imo...

IMO also, this can't be good going week to week like this. So Zeke has to get familiar with the game plan for the week in basically two days.

Give me the win against the Chiefs.

We can go 4-2 without Zeke looking at the schedule if he is suspended after the Chiefs game.
I get what your saying, but Zeke playing wasn't exactly the lynch-pin to winning and the fact that he hasn't practiced all week does make me wonder where is mind will be at come game time without the benefit of being involved in the game-plan meetings. Not trying to build in an excuse here; I just think the Chiefs were going to be challenge with or without him.

I want Zeke to fight this. The league screwed him over and he should absolutely fight this.

But I spent all week getting mentally prepared to see Morris/DMC/Smith.

I feel bad for DMC...just when he thinks he's going to get his shot to play... nope

The fact that is delayed probably strengthens his case of getting the injunction. I am not a legal expert but Falia basically called it a blowout win for the NFL. If it was really a blowout then why the brief stay?
