Got this link from PFF in my inbox today and clicked on it.

It was an article about the best backs in the NFL and how they performed in various situations. Imagine my surprise when I read this:

"Dallas Cowboys grinding it out in the red zone: The Cowboys generated positive EPA on 46.5% of their red-zone rushes to lead the NFL. Ezekiel Elliott moved the chains on 41.0% of his attempts, the best rate among the 31 qualifying backs."

How can a guy who we are assured is completely washed, useless, bad at football and all other crap posted here, be the BEST CHAIN MOVER IN THE GAME! Not top 20, not top 10, not even top 5.. Numero Uno. He was also the #2 rated red zone back in the league.

How is this possible?

I await the wise counsel of the group...

(edit) Maybe that's why Belichik is interested. He knows the value of moving the chains and punching it in when you get close. Most smart coaches do.
That's because he's not completely washed. He's just not the back we were paying him to be anymore.

Click bait.

I really hate the way some sports media use deceptive titles to their articles in order to draw fans in. I consider it unethical.

No disrespect to the OP, I see this all the time in Google news, Youtube, etc...

Some analyst somewhere guesses that Zeke might sign with the Patriots. Add that to the other dozen times we have seen these so called "projections". They are meaningless.

2020: 7-9, AFC East 3rd place, no playoffs
2021: 10-7, AFC East 2nd place, Wild Card playoff loss @ Bills (14 - 47)
2022: 8-9, AFC East 3rd place, no playoffs

Post Brady___ Belichick and Patriots are 25-25 over three regular seasons and 0-1in the postseason.
yeah Bill wanted to prove he could win big without tom, well he got the chance and has only proven it was tom all that time.
That is what ego can do to a person, he had wanted to dump tom 2 years prior !

then the smart thing would have been to tank a couple years draft some good players, a top qb, then try to win, but with his ego driving him,
he tried to win with no talent, and has had his own version of the garrett years, win just enough so you draft in the middle !

I doubt Bill ever gets to another SB.

I wish him well but I'd be surprised if he gets 10 touches a game, just because of the way BB uses RBs
