vanity and pride differ though. take some pride in the way you look and present yourself. but beyond that...there is another line to cross when you hit vanity and ego.

With all his outlandish appearances is clear to me that he is looking to stand out. To me that's vanity. I would much rather the simple haircut of say a Dak. Just worry about your career and getting the job done. Something to prove on the field, not off of it.

Does it make him run faster, run with more power, cut more quickly? Does it help him run better routes, have better hands? Does it improve his ability to chip, gain better blitz recognition, pick up the blitz better?

That's really all I care about, to be honest. However he wears his hair is cool with me. Don't care.

I used to have a lot of hair, and still probably could. But I choose not to.
Receding hairline, though not much, yet, and that small bald spot. So I just keep it cut short because it is so much easier.

LOL this reminded me of a Seinfeld episode. Elaine is dating a bald guy (by his choice) and realizes he is bald when he attempts to grow his hair back!

Very true. But you have to expect people to laugh at it when it all looks as ridiculous as Zeke's does. Does he REALLY look in the mirror and think he looks good? OR is he just say ** to the world? Rebel? Heck if you saw same of my looks in high school you would laugh too.

I never watched Seinfield when it was on. And only seen a handful of them in reruns. Seen a few minutes though quite often here and there.
One of these days, if one Netflix or Hulu, I may watch them.

If people laugh at Zeke's haircut then that is for him to worry about. When you put yourself out there then you have to accept the feedback. Having said that I do not think Zeke's fade looks bad.
