Don't know for sure, but many times when somebody says somebody else has "too much hair", it's because they're like me, don't have a lot

I used to have a lot of hair, and still probably could. But I choose not to.
Receding hairline, though not much, yet, and that small bald spot. So I just keep it cut short because it is so much easier.

My viewpoint has always been that the less hair you have, the shorter you should keep it. To me it's just ridiculous to have six inch long hair on the sides and/or back if you have little or none on the top, e.g.

A couple of years ago when I had lost probably half my hair on top, I told my barber just to cut it as short as it needed to be so I wouldn't have to "mess with it". No combing, drying etc.

I'll keep it this way from now on..

vanity and pride differ though. take some pride in the way you look and present yourself. but beyond that...there is another line to cross when you hit vanity and ego.
