Zeke timing is impeccable

Dak Prescott can't carry this team.....Yet!

he doesn't have to, you'e under estimating the overall talent, discounting LG of course

LG is the not yet ... that cost a title last year

There's a worst case scenario for Zeke as well.

The last game Dak played without Zeke he threw for 387 yards and four touchdowns. And while I know that won't be the norm for Prescott, who's to say Tony Pollard and Mike Weber can't do some Zeke-like damage behind this o-line?

Since it's doubtful Zeke shows up to camp by August 6, he'll be the Cowboys' property through 2021 since he'll lose credit for an accrued season towards free agency. And if it's shown that Dallas function minus Zeke, the Cowboys will suddenly hold all the cards.

Hard call. Dallas might be one of few teams who can actually lose games due to RB hold-out. NE or Philly would laugh at a RB hold-out and absolutely not lose games because of it. On other hand this might set up perfectly for Dak to come in and become the focal point. But I felt same way in Zeke suspension year but that went the wrong way.

While a lot of Cowboys fans will be waiting for Dak to fail in this case, I see it as a tremendous opportunity for him to prove he can carry this team.

I agree, if Dak goes off this year then Zeke loses considerable leverage.

That went wrong because we lost Tyron and Sean Lee during the same stretch.

If this is so , Zeke should re-sign for a 5 year deal ; AND HOLD OUT THE VERY NEXT DAY .

He will for-see that the cap will be spent , and needs to be sure they don't over spend when the 5 years are over .

He will get a deal done. It’s just in bad taste for Elliot to do this at least a year early. Also other players are watching this also. See if Elliot gets away with it.

The 5th year option is not 100 percent GTD.

There are ways for Dallas to void it. Also, no more bonus/gtd money after 2020.

Why do people think Zeke should risk his career/future $$$ playing on a contract that is 50 percent below the market for elite RBs??

Elite RBs make $$$.

Pay him and get back to football.

Stephen said they will be darned if they become the market setters .

Cowboys needs to hold until another RB signs .

Except for the fact that he's under contract for 2 years.
This
Under contract, and has had off field fubars yearly since college that put his availability in jeopardy

Easy to point at Levon bell, but Jerry stood pat on demarco Murray several years prior
Precedent is there

Zeus is trying to force Dallas into making the same mistake the Rams did.
