I'd like to compare our franchise RB with the Giants franchise RB.
We have a very small sample size so far with Saquon in the NFL, but what we can do is compare the two and what they did in college facing similar competition.

Zeke:
Att: 592, Yards: 3,961, Avg: 6.7, TD's: 43
Rec: 58, Yards: 449, Avg: 7.7, TD's: 1

Saquon
Att: 671, Yards: 3,843, Avg: 5.7, TD's: 43
Rec: 102, Yards: 1,195, Avg: 11.7, TD's: 8

Saquon has been called a generational talent, and Zeke wasn't considered in the same class of Saquon, but clearly you can see Zeke has better rushing stats and 1 yard more per carry for their entire careers.

Bottomline I think is what we know, Zeke is the better rusher, Saquon is the better receiver.

What do you guys think?

It's a little bit like Emmitt-Barry all over again.

Saquon is more like to make guys miss. Zeke is a bit more north-south runner.

I don't think it's fair to use yardage to compare as the Giants have a really bad o-line.

The same argument was made with Sanders and Detroit as well. You know, if Saquon had the Cowboys OL, he'd have 2,000 rushing yards by now....

:D

Saquon is more elusive in the open field while Zeke looks for contact often and bulldozes. Both can be good in the passing game but Barkley will get more opportunities there.......Zeke is a better blocker. I think Zeke will be more durable in the long run, he is built like an Ewok after all

Hard to stack the box though, when u are worried about OBJ, Engram and so on.

Zeke was just as hyped as Saquon was coming out of college.

Every year you have some generational talent that comes out. Not so generational, is it? Zeke had the same words said about him coming out.

Yeah I don't want to admit it..........but if I'm just using the eye test?Barkley is incredible. I didn't think he'd transition this fast to the NFL. He has to work for every single yard he gets. And to Zeke's credit? He's had to work for every yard he's gotten this year too. It hasn't been easy for Zeke. At the end of the day teams still have to worry about that Giants receiving core even if Eli is throwing them the ball.

Its like guys slide off of Barkley. I'm not ready yet to say who's the better back between the two becasue ts early but Barkley looks the part. Interested to see what Deadskins get out of Guice next season. Eagles.......who knows what they do.
