Elliott is proving to be a superb runner. He deserves every accolade for his rushing attempts, especially those that are highlight material.

Still, it would be best that he (and every other running back playing the game at any level) considers the ramifications of exposing your knees while leaping over people attempting to tackle them low and LEADING with their helmets.

Two things. First, medical science has grown leaps and bounds through the years. Many knee injuries are repaired almost completely compared to yesteryear but unnecessary knee injuries can be potentially devastating for running backs nonetheless. Second, don't let the ghost (metaphorically/he's not dead) of Gale Sayers haunt a superstar running back's career in any capacity. And if you don't know who Sayers was, google him for goodness sakes.

In that one run alone, Zeke accomplished:

-Getting initial contact BEHIND the line of scrimmage and broke through that
-Having the burst to outrun the defense to the corner
-Leaped over a defender
-Got hit in midair
-Landed about 3 yards short of the first down
-Still had enough power to run through 2-3 defenders to pick up the first down after landing

What more can you possibly ask for other than for him to score as well

To be fair, behind this line, anyone could have done that.

Love how he keeps his balance after taking the hit in the air and still picks up the first down there.

That was an awesome play. However, I wished that Brett Favre would have shutup. He kinda spoiled it with this blabbering over nothing.
