But if they lose Sunday, it will still very much be an open question.

They will immediately enter the Romo zone. That's why these games matter and no matter how good you are if you don't do something in the post season than nobody will take you seriously.

The Patriots have it a lot easier than we do.

Its a weak field given what those teams have done this year IMO. Green Bay as an overall team isnt near what they were when they won the Super Bowl. They live and die by Aaron Rodgers. They did to an extent when they won it all, but the team was good enough to win if he had a down game. Dont think that is the case right now. Atlanta is going to have to find shootouts, and with a QB with a porous playoff record. Seattle may be the best overall in the NFC right now after us, but the loss of Thomas hurts a team that was already a notch below their championship level.

Any of these teams can get hot and win it all, but barring I think its a weak field. IMO you want two strong championship contenders in a conference. I dont think have that in the NFC. IMO its Dallas and SB fodder. Anything can happen, but I dont give the other three teams much of a chance at beating NE

This made me think, we don't know what the label will be for these two players. Yes they had two big rookie seasons but not only can they do it again but what do they do in the postseason? Are they known as chokers? Clutch players? That's yet to be written and won't be decided this year.

If they get to and win the SB that will remain written forever

I know if I was on Aaron Rodgers team, I wouldn't be all that motivated to make him look good. Because that team is all about him, if he wins he gets the credit, if he loses his teammates gets the blame.
