This thread went the way a thread around here typically goes.

Board rules
1. Any positive post mentioning Dak or Zeke must be turned into a bash session by the self hating man babies.
2. Any post mentioning WR's must be turned into a bash Dak post.
3. Any post mentioning the OL must be turned into an anti Zeke and Dak thread.
4. All positive post must be turned into a reason to bash the 3 people above.
5. Positivity about your favorite team must not be tolerated unless its about Micah Parsons. (for now)

Cowboyszone public enemy #1 = Dak Prescott
Cowboyszone public enemy #2 = Zeke Elliott
Cowboyszone public enemy #3 = Jerry Jones

He is on pace for 1,000 yards, which would put him for 1,000+ yards in 5 of his 7 NFL seasons and most certainly would have been 6 of 7 seasons if not for his ridiculous suspension. He has been so durable and consistent for 7 seasons and he is still only 27. He may not be Zeke of 2018, but he can still get the job done the way Emmitt used to do it.

Find a girl that loves you like Zoners love Zeke…

7 Running backs ran for 1,000 yards in 2021 which was the first 17-game season. In 1996, 13 guys did it. It's more of an achievement today statistically speaking with the way the game is played. Therefore your argument against 1,000 yard rushers is wrong.

and 9 did it the year before including a qb, 16 the year before. there's roughly 17 backs on pace this year even w/ a bigger focus on passing and platoons.

I'm happy if he can continue to produce tds and be a redzone guy though

5.3 yards per reception. Do you have any idea of how low this number is?

"Here are two arbitrary seasons!"

I can play this too - 16 RBs rushed for over 1,000 yards in 2019. One being Philip Lindsay who is like the third RB on a depth chart somewhere now. As did Carlos Hyde and Marlon Mack. Mediocre RBs can get to 1,000 yards in the league today.

No offense.. but 2019 is not "today." And it was only 15 RBs.. because one of the 16 was a QB.. I'll let you figure out who. And only on the internet can a person who accomplishes something that only 14 other players did be considered "mediocre." Over 300 guys carry the ball in the NFL every year.. So pretty much anybody in the top 30 is already elite.. because they're in the 90th percentile. If you're in the top 10 you're in the 97th percentile... and if you're in the top 5 (Zeke was 4th that year) you're in the 99% percentile. Right now Zeke sits at 12th of 254 ballcarriers. Or the 95th percentile. Friggin scrub..

Maybe you should have been clearer in your post?

The only reason it's "harder" to get 1,000 yards for an RB now is because most RBs in the league don't get enough chances. 1,000 yard RBs typically get 230+ carries. JAG RBs nearly every season get 1,000+ yards

In recent years: David Montgomery, James Robinson, Antonio Gibson, Chris Carson, Philip Lindsay, CJ Anderson, Jay Ajayi, etc. That's just in recent years. It's not an achievement.

Sure JAGs can do it one or two times in a career.. but the great ones do it repeatedly.. and become a lynchpin for their teams. Totin the rock in the NFL is hard on the body. A good RB will take 4-5 hits PER CARRY.. and that's not counting falling to the ground with a couple of 300 pound men on top of you. It's far and away the most physically demanding position on the field which is why they have such a short shelf life. We should appreciate the fact that we have one who can remain productive after 6+ years of hits carrying the ball AND blocking for his QBs. But some of you can't bring yourself to appreciate him.. Which is your problem.. not mine..
