Wasn't running sprints on Cabo San Lucas sandy beaches supposed to give him his burst back?

In fairness, it did appear to until he had that injury. I think I have an idea when he got hurt. Remember when he fell awkwardly and got up limping against, I think it was the Giants on the sideline pylon?

I can't get why people are against him. I agree the contract was no much but he has always done what was asked of him by the team. If that means blocking then he does it without any whining. Myself I hope he can go out and prove himself fit and healthy because if he can this team will be much improved from last season
because these negative manbabies are against anything positive from this team because they still can't get over last season.

Took 2 full pages of post to find a single positive one.

This thread is about Zeke regaining his rookie burst. If you don't think he has that's fine. Just do it in another thread, on another board, for another team.

Same story as the last two years. Hype video with garbage cans again incoming?

Don't worry KM will call his typical run up the gut for 2 yards plays that a middle school kid could acknowledge was coming

The recently released footage shows that the burst is indeed impressive:

Because its EVERY YEAR!

This guys is in the best shape of his life.

Hes running like hes in high school again

This guy didnt get involved in a shooting.

Its all marketing. Thats what the Cowboys are. A marketing machine. You want to fall for it hook line and sinker. Be my guest. lol

Zeke should take some advice from my friend Marcellus Wallace

The thing is, Zeke, right now, you've got ability. But painful as it may be, ability don't last. And your days are just about over. Now, that's a hard fact of life. But it's a fact of life your butt is gonna have to get realistic about. See, this business is filled to the brim with unrealistic people. People who thought their butt would age like wine. If you mean it turns to vinegar, it does. If you mean it gets better with age, it don't. Besides, Zeke, how many seasons you think you got left in you anyway? Two? Football players don't have an "old timer's league". You came close, but you never made it, and if you were gonna make it, you would have made it before now.

Stay healthy and in shape 21...one of the few guys on the roster that knows what it's like to be the man on a championship team. That DNA is needed in Dallas. Let the fans say what they say.

Elliott was running well before he got injured last season. I don't know why so many fans don't want to remember that. If he can regain that form — not find the fountain of youth and go back to his rookie self — then we once again have one of the top RBs in the league, which is what he was until the injury.
