I am no Zimmer fan but I can't really burn him to the ground here. He's working with bottom 5 NFL talent right now. The DTs are awful. He's down to his 3rd string DEs. LB play is suspect with no Kendrick as the other guys are just so young. Does that mean he's doing a good job, no? But its hard for me to rip him at this point.

McCarthy should have been fired after the GB debacle. Jerry, being the cheap SOB that he is, didn't want to pay Big Mike to sit on his couch for a year, so naturally he brought him back. What a mistake.

I don't see how a coaching change is going to help at this point.

We can't add a new offense in mid season.

I don't know what new coach or scheme would fix our lack of DT talent.

The only person who could potentially fix this problem is the one who created it and that is GM Jethro. However, we all know he most likely will not be making any trades. So it is another wasted year.

Yeah the only way a coaching change happens is if the players quit on the coach like they did Wade.

Yes, the defense is historically bad, but there are injuries to numerous starters. But that’s not the case with the offense and it’s his scheme and play-calling. Problem is, the likely replacement in those roles is Shottenheimer who is the Run Game Coordinator of a putrid run game.
