I have several reasons not to think this thread could happen. Let me outline them for you.

Super Bowl V...Loss to Baltimore 13-16...Miami, Florida hosted the game.

Super Bowl X...Loss to Pittsburgh 17-21...Miami, Florida hosted the game.

Super Bowl XIII...Loss to Pittsburgh 31-35...Miami, Florida hosted the game.

2009 Super Bowl XLIV...Miami, Florida hosting the game.


I'm not superstitious, but a bad omen is a bad omen is a bad omen.


Enjoy the optimism everyone. Sorry to put a damper on it. Just speaking for the pessimistic side of us.

It kinda loses its effect when you make the same prediction year after year after year. Logging on to a Cowboy message board and predicting good things for the team is hardly the definition of "courage." Anybody can do that, and there's no risk of being pummeled.

Lastly,even in our down offensive year last year we still moved the ball and scored pretty good. What some may not understand yet is that Felix and Bennett together give us much more than what one Owens can, without all the bullschitt. A WHOLE lot more in fact. BOTH of those guys are going to give us an element of explosiveness. Now factor in Bennetts blocking in the running game and things are looking pretty tight. Our offense isnt weaker by being without T.O, its STRONGER. ALOT stronger. As for me? Gonna just sit back and enjoy the ride. Been a long time comin!

This is the most important factor we have going into this year. Well said.

But those were all played at the Orange Bowl, right? This will be at what they call Dolphins Stadium. So omen averted.
