A top 3 corner in the NFL is not on thin ice. Sorry. Just not happening.
However, with Jenkins, Pacman and Henry, we at least now have some flexibility and don't have to be held hostage. Depending upon the development of the young guys, Newman's ability to stay healthy and Pacman's behavior, we can balance the positives and negatives of keeping Newman or, as Eskimo said, franchising him and maybe letting him walk a year later.
Odds are, we're going to want our No. 1 corner back. Not sure Jenkins can show enough in Year 1 to make you feel comfortable losing Newman, and Pacman simply can't be trusted.
I think Henry is more likely the player that will be gone in the coming year or two.
