What’s there to be optimistic about?sorry do not share the pessimistic views.
I don't expect to deal with the injuries we had this past season for starters. Look if you guys choose to stay down and pout that is on you I think Cowboys will be in post season next year. What’s there to be optimistic about?
Even if we don’t have the large amount of injuries, they’ll still be injuries. Injuries happen every year. Even when we were pretty healthy we STUNK! The HC hire was the most uninspiring since Campo. That certainly didn’t bring any optimism. You’re saying the Cowboys will make the playoffs next season but that’s nothing more than wishful thinking. The Cowboys are going to have to be much more active in free agency than they’ve been and have a much better draft than the past two years or they could be worse next season. Our last two first round picks have been duds and Dak’s best years are behind him. Our OL and DL are not good. We’ll likely end up overpaying Parsons who never shows up in big games. I see nothing to be encouraged about as we sit here this very moment. We’ll see how the offseason plays out.I don't expect to deal with the injuries we had this past season for starters. We might resign Phenom in the off season. What’s there to be optimistic about?
You are correct. Things changed really fast after Jimmy left.Decade is a long time and things change FAST in the NFL so no, not a decade. If we do have a 3 win season, a top QB, DL 2nd round can change things quickly.
That said, I reckon we are in for a bumpy time, the roster seems miles away right now so 3 years, maybe 4 sub .5 would not surprise me 1 bit.
and that is your opinion, sorry not joining in on the pity party. I don't expect you or anyone else to feel as I do. Yes injuries happen to all but injuries along the DL, the LB and secondary was a killer. You see nothing to be encouraged about again that is how you see it. I'm not here to change anyone's mind or to join in on the attack of anything the Cowboys do.Even if we don’t have the large amount of injuries, they’ll still be injuries. Injuries happen every year. Enter? We are getting closer to the heart of a century.I think you mean
Are the Cowboys about to enter YET ANOTHER dark decade
The answer if course is YES
I’m just telling it straight. What encourages you that makes you believe the Cowboys will make the playoffs next season? It’s always possible but they have to get past Washington and Philly. Currently the team is in the dumpster. That could change if the Joneses stop sitting around looking for bottom tier free agents and make some solid signings. They also need to have a much better draft than what they’ve had the past couple of years and have to stop using high draft picks on projects.and that is your opinion, sorry not joining in on the pity party. No you are telling it how you see it, again I am not telling you what to think. Dallas beat Washington this past season and damn near beat them with a 3rd string sorry if I don't think as highly on Washington as you. Philly clearly are the better team in large part the addition of Barkley. As for this off season I do think the Cowboys will be a lot more active in FAI’m just telling it straight. Super Bowl(playoff) teams FA's typically get picked up by other teams, or force them to over pay to retain them.Philly will have a bad season or two and we will get back on top and back and forth
29 Years, 0 Months & 14 Days to be exactWe’ve been in one since 1996
Back then if someone had told me that was going to happen.. I probably would have said they were an idiot.29 Years, 0 Months & 14 Days to be exact
Keep Jerry out of the War Room.NFL network just graded this year's draft class. We were ranked 26th in the league and signed one decent free agent. Dark decade indeed and staying dark.
