Couldn't agree more with your assessmentBland
Diggs physical health is in question. He will probably never be the same player. Can't pay him top corner money.
He may not play in 2025. I think Dallas should make him a June 1st cut in 2026.
I admit I had a dislike for Diggs due to all his business decisions but those two serious injuries tips the balance easily to Bland. As much as I like Diggs, he's coming off 2 injuries. I like Bland, and most likely, the Cowboys will choose him too.
We can wait on Bland to see if he can make it back to what he was when he set the NFL record for Pick 6's in a seasonDiggs was a big mistake and Bland will be the next mistake.
I can name someone else coming off some injuries too, never mind!!!As much as I like Diggs, he's coming off 2 injuries. I like Bland, and most likely, the Cowboys will choose him too.
no we can't do that, the Cowboys won't see past the injuries, he will be given a record setting contract based off what he did YEARS ago!!We can wait on Bland to see if he can make it back to what he was when he set the NFL record for Pick 6's in a season
Yeah, we get ahead of ourselves sometimes. Let's let Diggs get healthy and then see how it goes. It's possible that both players' performance can fall off in Eberflus's zone-heavy scheme or maybe they will both shine. The sad thing is that we might have to sign a short-term vet because of Diggs' injury since there's the possibility he won't make it back in time for the start of the season. I think he and Overshown will both start the year on PUP.Don't have to sign bland until next offseason plus they have the tag to use if they want. No rush
Yeah but you know how that goes 437, they get the money, and all of a sudden the things you saw that GOT them the contract somehow fade away!!!!Who does the new defensive scheme favor? Guessing Eberflus will be around a few years. I have to go with Bland on this one, less injuries, more tackling, and maybe a lesser contract.
Facts, it seems Bland is more lowkey and could handle it better than Diggs has, but you right we never know.Yeah but you know how that goes 437, they get the money, and all of a sudden the things you saw that GOT them the contract somehow fade away!!!!
you and @thunderpimp91 my top 3 favorite posters in here no debate necessary! Much respect to you guys!Facts, it seems Bland is more lowkey and could handle it better than Diggs has, but you right we never know.
@thunderpimp91 What do you think Bland's trade value is right now?
Bland is one of the most humble, down-to-earth, likable guys on the entire team. Absolutely awesome dude. I don't have any questions about him quitting his job after he wins the lottery.Facts, it seems Bland is more lowkey and could handle it better than Diggs has, but you right we never know.
Good question. I dont say it with a ton of confidence, but I would think you could get a 2nd for him, possibly a decent pick in that round too. I try to take emotion out of it and just go off of recent history. The closest comp I can find the last couple years is the L'jarious Sneed trade, and maybe Carlton Davis or Rasul Douglas deals. All of those got 3rd round picks plus another late pick. I would assume Bland still having a year left on his rookie deal would up his value a little bit from those guys though???Facts, it seems Bland is more lowkey and could handle it better than Diggs has, but you right we never know.
