lol at 'Dak Prescott being the fourth-oldest starting QB in the NFL
is wild'. Or saying '
This is wild' because there is a one-year difference between five-year veteran Jalen Hurts and (former) rookie Jayden Daniels. The age differences are notable but that is all they are.
Even worse is the fact Hurts is 28 months older than Daniels. Someone fit that true age gap into a single year.
Hurts played four years in college. Daniels played five. Hurts was drafted at 21. Daniels at 23. "THIS IS WILD!" No. It's math.
Everything is a matter of attrition in life. Sports is no different. Prescott was drafted in 2016. It's freaking 2025. Were older quarterbacks supposed to continue playing and not retire--like every predecessor before them--so Prescott could continue as one of the youngest quarterbacks in the league indefinitely? AT 32?
"THIS IS WILD!"
