Jerry was in front of the cameras back then as he is now. He said he would be involved in everything. Some fans just want to use the success of the team, as all Jimmy. Which all of it was. As to on the field play. He also had Jerry to go pay all the players, whatever was needed.

Easy answer. He didn't have the players, and got an aging Marino shoved on him. And didn't have the benefit of the Herschel Walker trade. And didn't have a QB. Did you analyze what type of team Jimmy built in MIA when you proclaimed he couldn't get it done there? I have no idea myself, not a Fins fan. Tuna got it done here, that is clear. Getting it done means you build a team that is a contender.
