How do you change the culture when you've been a part of it? Truly, only an outsider who hasn't contributed to the culture can change it.Easy answer: The CULTURE. Needs to say, "We are an NFL football team in search of a championship and not a side show circus."
but
the hard truth is as long as Jerry and Stephen Jones are calling the shots the culture will probably not change. Key the music! The midway is open.
The OP asked in the heading what "NEEDS" to happen. I answered that. I also said that I do not think it WILL happen because of the Joneses. How do you change the culture when you've been a part of it? Truly, only an outsider who hasn't contributed to the culture can change it.
Absolutely!!! He'd fall into a coma and maybe we'd actually get a GM!!!!!The 1st thing he should do is read your thousands of posts.
Post of the night!!!Discipline.
The last 5 years at least being in the top 3 or 5 most highly penalized teams.
Refs are at the practices.
Whatever the McCarthy regime attempted to get the penalty problem fixed, it failed miserably.
The margin for error to compete for a divisional title has become even more narrow with the upward trending Commanders and champion Eagles. Without instilling a newfound strong sense of discipline toward avoiding penalties they will continue to fall further out of contention with their division rivals.
Nevermind I was about to get in trouble lolParting of the red sea?
The top 3 are spot on and in that order!1) Find a new QB
2) Upgrade the Defense up the middle. DT. LB. S
3) Penalties
4) More run shifts and traps to make the run game less predictable
5) Better screen game
Day 1 is too late.Day 1 of meetings/practice, what does our head coach need to tell our players and what does he need to work on to get this team on the right path. Leaving our Jerry Jones and management, let's focus on the coach and what he needs to work on, so this team is on a successful path to a great 2025 season??? Please give your thoughts.

Coog, You can't leave Jerry/Stephen out... It's because of them that we don't have depth that's worth a damn. They will pay money to who will sell jerseys and dumpster dive to fill the gaps. What did they do to help better the roster during the offseason last year? Not a damn thing. Look at the line on both offense and defense. Everyone says the offensive and defensive lines is who controlled the Superbowl. Who do we have? Coaches can only do so much with the players at hand. It's because of them that the players are soft in that if the HC says something to hurt the players' feelings, they can go run to Daddy Jerry and Jerry will protect them. The Eagles showed what happens when the owner actually listens and does what it takes to better the team. He let the coaches do what they do and look at the results. The Eagles stomped Mahomes..... Sure they let off the gas a little which made The Chiefs score some point but what would have happened had the Eagles not let off the gas? I don't think The Chiefs would have ever scored.Day 1 of meetings/practice, what does our head coach need to tell our players and what does he need to work on to get this team on the right path.
