XFL is the kind of thing to have on in the background while you are doing the dishes, but quality of play sure makes you even appreciate the Bengals.

That Dallas QB was dreadful. Maybe I will try out.

My thoughts exactly -- Phillip Nelson was as poor a passing QB as I've ever seen. His play begs for him to be replaced.

Landy Jones will be a significant upgrade once he's healthy.

I totally believe that. Landry Jones proved himself worthy when he played at Oklahoma. He'll do fine with the Renegades, no doubt.

I’ve never seen an offense dink and dunk so much. Literally nothing but dumpoffs.

That happens when:

A. Defense is playing so far off that you take the easy 7-8 yards

B. Secondary is locking your guys down so hard that you have no choice but your fourth option

C. Your quarterback has no idea of patience or how to run an offense and just throws it so they can put the game in someone else’s hand
