So it's everyone's fault but Dak's?????? What the hell kind of leader and, as you profess the best player on the team, can't lead his team past close games where the defense did their job but Dak SUCKED!!!!!!
You sound emotional. Let's just stick with facts.

Not to mention that Dak single handily got us to having a chance in the game at all.

After we went up on the Rams 7-3 Dak led us to 3 drives that were two three and outs, and one four and out. During those drives he went 2-7 for 8 yards and it took less than 4 minutes total off the clock. Yes the Rams ran all over our defense, but our offense did them no favors either putting them right back out on the field drive after drive.

There was one drive right before that half that was a 9 play drive which lasted 2:43. That drive ended when Dak took a sack to push us out of long field goal range and we punted.

The defense let us down that game, but to say the offense did not at all help contribute to it would be wrong. We had 60 yards on our first drive and 196 during the last 20 minutes of the game after falling down 16 points. From the 6:03 mark of the first quarter until the 7:00 mark of the 3rd quarter our offense had a total of 54 yards offense including 31 yards passing.

Sure the defense got ran all over, but all we did was 3 and out and give it back to the Rams. You said he single handily gave us a chance to win, but for half the game (while it was still in the balance) he and the rest of the offense did nothing but help put us in a position to need to come back.

Not saying we lost because of Dak, far from it, but he was part of the 30 implosion (in the middle of the game) by the entire team (defense and offense) that put is in that position in the first place.

A lot of people already see the disparity in the haves and have nots. A lot more are waking up to it. Contractors will often take less in the winter to have a job rather than insist on top dollar and not have work for their employees.

Its not stupidity. Its common sense. I'm for getting all you can. I'm also for getting what you're worth. But when you insist on more, its greed defined as intense and selfish desire for something, especially wealth, power, or food.
Yeh lets compare a contractor to a professional athlete. The professions are totally different lol. My goodness. It's about getting paid market value for your job. Let's say you work in an office and your friend does the same job as you but works at a different office making $100k a year. But statistically isn't as good as you at your job. If your boss offered you a raise to $90k would you take it, ask for more, or look elsewhere? I'm gonna go on a limb and say option 1 is out

Bruh you really blaming the offense while the defense was on the field for almost 40 minutes and giving up almost 300 yards rushing. I hate it here.

While I think that is a good offer for his ability, at this point there is no reason not to wait and see what Bridgewater and Tannehill and the others get first. Not to mention the new CBA agreement.

That information will make it easier for both sides to decide on a contract.

I disagree. There is no upside to doing that imo. If one of them manages to get $30+ million Dak could end up costing even more.

You don’t seem to grasp that Goff is the QB and QBs are judged on their W/L record especially in the playoffs. Goff has a better head to head record against Dak and has a better playoff record. The game is about winning not individual QB stats. Danny White outplayed Joe Montana statistically in the 81 title game but no one cares because the game is about winning!

Yeah you’re wrong when it comes to contracts. You think Jerry is going to say. “Yeh dak you have outperformed Goff by every individual metric, but remember that playoff game where the defense gave up 280 yards rushing and we lost? Because of that you deserve to get paid less”

Lol no chance.

Dak has outperformed Goff in the playoffs. By a large margin. Just look at the numbers. It’s not even close.

Seems like a perfectly resonable offer, but probably won't get a deal done with Dak. Based on Goff's contract probably 1 million off a year and 5 to 7 million more guaranteed.

Damn I hate explaining basic things to you but:

Jared Goff #1 pick in the draft hence a big contract

Carson Wentz #2 pick in the draft hence a big contract

Dak Prescott #135 pick in the draft hence a small contract

Those are basic CBA economics and forgive me but Goff led the Rams to the Super Bowl, Wentz was the catalyst to position the Eagles for their 2017 Super Bowl victory and beat Dallas (and Dak) late last season to get into the playoffs.

Other than padded stats last season, what has Dak done for Dallas?????

Dak = 40 wins

Goff = 33 wins

Wentz = 32 wins

So Dak has more wins despite Goff and Wentz literally being surrounded by Super Bowl level talent and coaching

Dak haters will always cling to the first three games he played while Zeke was suspended in November 2017 as proof he can't carry a team, and nothing will change their opinion of him.

Now, I'm under no grand illusion Prescott is elite, but nobody here can say they know he never will be. The Cowboys have themselves a winner at the most difficult position to fill in all of professional sports yet too many fans want them to throw it all away and start over.

Wasn't the story that they offered him 33 last year?

Goff and Wentz got more in guarantees, Goff got more in salary.

Dak should wait until free agency shakes out. Jerry has shown a lack of will to even *consider* signing someone else. Jerry needs the tag for Cooper. Dak has every reason to wait, instead of signing money he could have had last year. It's not a serious offer to get Dak to move.

I think the floor on Dak's contract is 35mil.

Don’t forget that the defense forced a whopping zero turnovers in two playoff games that year.

But people really expect to win a Super Bowl with a defense like that......

I think the sticking points of Dak's deal are the length and the guaranteed money. I think the Cowboys will have to go a little higher than $33 million AAV and then make sure he gets the bulk of his guarantees within the first few years in order to finally get this thing done.

Goff only started 7 games as a rookie under Jeff Fisher. Goff handily outperformed Dak in 2017 and 2018. And you have to love the trolls who handwave other QBs supporting cast when Dak is the most carried QB in the NFL.
Dak isn’t anywhere near as good as Goff or Wentz and no one in the NFL thinks he is either.

NO ITS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Goff and wentz are getting $34m a year and made almost $15m more just from their initial 1st round contracts compared to what dak has been paid. Dak's numbers are better than Wentz's and Goff's. Why should he take less money? It's not Dak's fault this team had terrible contracts in Romo and Dez that they had to eat so they couldn't sign any big free agents to make the team better on his rookie cheap labor deal.
Are you a family member of Daks, or is this some kind of childish pissing contest?
I could give two craps about what any cowboy player is making in comparison to other nfl players as long as it benefits the cowboys as a team and they are good for the team.

Why would either side be stupid enough to discuss the specifics of an offer unless they were already agreed in principle. Garbage news otherwise.
