In what fantasy world is Dak ruining anyone’s season? Whether he signs a new contract or not, he will be the starting QB for the Cowboys this year and have tons of motivation to do his best.

I’m tired of the daily Dak watch, but he will still be leading the Dallas Cowboys into the 2020 season, no matter what happens.

And the new "franchise QB" you draft will be unproven and could be more like Locker or Gabbert than Mahomes or Watson, andthan and he would also be saddled with a bottom barrel O-Line just like Dak would be this year, so how will that have helped?

By the way, how do we know it isn't the Cowboys holding things up? They seem to have a habit if going down to the wire with bigger contracts, and Dak could just be the most recent example.
Dak is unproven results wise . He has a big losing record against winning teams . So if we double and triple down on him as he wants , we will sink with him further . Don’t be fooled by stats . It is a terrible division and most of the yards in garbage time .

Cowboy_Ron, I knew you were going to get stoned to death with this thread my man.
Only from the ones that think he should be signed at any cost......... totally oblivious of how it effects how well we can upgrade the talent level at key positions on the team.

Tag Dak, trade the entire OL stockpiling draft picks for next year to draft a franchise QB. In the meantime Dak can enjoy his OL of cheap undrafted free agents and we can sit back and watch him enjoy his season.

He's trying to single handedly ruin this season before it starts.

Brilliant!

I posted something similar. If he wants all that money, don't spend anymore cap on the offense. He is so great he can handle it, heh.

Or go follow a team with a player you don't hate.

So you trust this front office to draft your "franchise QB", eh?

Paxton Lynch...Connor Cook...Johnny Manziel...Quincy Carter. Those have been the apples in Jerry's eye this century. We're lucky he fell into Romo and Dak.

Or we could just let Dak walk, tank the season and draft Trevor Lawrence with our top pick next year.
And keep our OL.

But they didn’t draft Lynch, Cook or Manziel.

This regime has only used a 1st round pick once . Troy Aikman. And a supplemental first round for Steve Walsh.

That gives me some confidence plus some of their other 1st round picks this era like on OL and RB.

This fear factor tactic is rubbish and more Dak supporting talking points.
