Well gee whiz, I don't know maybe you can actually pay some defensive players what they're worth?

Let's say you were the GM of an expansion team, and everyone in the league was a free agent and you could sign anyone you wanted as long as you stayed under the salary cap. Would you immediately try to go out and have the highest paid offensive line, running back, quarterback and receiver? Cause that's what these clowns are doing. And as a bonus, they went 8-8 and disappeared in every game against a defense with a pulse. It's absurd.
Coop isnt the highest paid WR. Just because YOU think he isnt worth what he got paid, doesn't mean that's what the market dictates. He is actually getting paid LESS than the market.

Oh how much less this would have been if Jerruh would have had the extension in place when the trade was made, but stupid front office management ends up costing them again. 60 million guaranteed for a guy that disappears for games at a time. No wonder Dallas hasn't won anything in a quarter century

I am just saying, NOTHING makes you happy. I understand your frustration but sometimes teams have to pay guys like Amari. They traded a number one for him, he turned one season around when he got here. He's clearly talented, he doesn't pound his chest when he scores TD's. Made some plays in a playoff game when the defense crapped itself... He is low key and seems like a nice kid. Let it go and lets see what he can do. Stop with the alligator tears...

Signing Cooper to this contract was the *best* case scenario the day we traded for him. He turned out to be good. He had all the negotiating leverage. I'm surprised he didn't squeeze Jerry harder.

Apparently he could have gotten even more money from the skins but stayed here. That’s the market.

5 years 100 mil doesn’t seem bad. Cooper is young (26 going into next season) and in his prime. He’s a good locker room guy and he wants to be here.

re signing cooper guarantees this offense stays dynamic. Especially now with a competent offense mind in McCarthy.

offense is fine. Let’s focus on the d come draft.

Non diva WR, who went to work last year vs just sitting out until a new deal was done. I like!

Hope he shows up for away games and stays healthy. Meantime, let's go fix the defense or this won't make a bit of difference.

Cooper changed our season two years ago. I love Byron. But I’d rather have cooper. If I could redo a contract it would be Zeke s so we could keep Byron.
