You know what...you are like a large scorned woman most of the time when you post...not ALL of the time but most of it. Nothing seems to make you happy except food...

And his grand plan is to cut everyone and be in last place for a few years. LOL

I expect this deal to be made by the Browns, not a team with a history like ours. This is a joke and it’s pathetic

Yet, despite us not winning crap since the 90s, you folks continue to cheer on Jerry’s drunken contracts.
A history like what? Not making past the second round of the playoffs? Because that's our history.

We have pay players more than $5 mil a year to keep them. Sorry not sorry

Tell me the decisions that have led us to winning a Super Bowl recently...

You don’t put nearly $200 million of cap space to freakin skill positions and expect to win a Super Bowl, dude. Oh, and Dak’s contract is coming up and that’s going to be near $40 million.

Too inconsistent to be the best of anything. Been like this since the Raiders. You don’t give a player $20 million for showing up 50% of the time.

Terrible contract and terrible guarantee. Hope everyone will be happy with seeing him rack up garbage yards because our defense will stink next year.

But the Zeke deal was a masterpiece. LOL

You hating the deal is proof that is was a gone one.

And you said Dak was backup material? Another blown analysis.

Lol so you’re happy with decisions recently that hasn’t got us beyond the divisional round? Neglecting the defense and signing skill positions to bad contracts has been what destroyed our cap in the past

We’re the Dallas Cowboys, not the Detroit Lions. You don’t win Super Bowls signing players like Cooper like they are a generational talent

I am just saying, NOTHING makes you happy. I understand your frustration but sometimes teams have to pay guys like Amari. They traded a number one for him, he turned one season around when he got here. He's clearly talented, he doesn't pound his chest when he scores TD's. Made some plays in a playoff game when the defense crapped itself... He is low key and seems like a nice kid. Let it go and lets see what he can do. Stop with the alligator tears...

Once you let them hit free agency, you do t have a choice.

do you know what massively means? It’s going up by around $10 million next years or close to 5%

Who told you 10 million? On NFL Network they said next year is going to be a bigger than normal increase cause of new TV deals ...etc

I think you mean an 8-8 TEAM. The defense played a big part of that record. You have to pay players what they are worth.
Well gee whiz, I don't know maybe you can actually pay some defensive players what they're worth?

Let's say you were the GM of an expansion team, and everyone in the league was a free agent and you could sign anyone you wanted as long as you stayed under the salary cap. Would you immediately try to go out and have the highest paid offensive line, running back, quarterback and receiver? Cause that's what these clowns are doing. And as a bonus, they went 8-8 and disappeared in every game against a defense with a pulse. It's absurd.

No, paying yall favorite broke down QB Romo has killed our cap for years. we didnt pay Coop like a generation talent, we paid him below market. The Commanders offered him market.

He made Gallup better also. Gallup wouldn’t have put up the numbers he did if teams didn’t have to account for Cooper.

Update: Nice little twist

That seemed the inevitable amount for a long time. They weren't going to leave him shy of 100m when it was so close. Spotrac estimated just a hair below 100m.

Seems big, but given that Jarwin got 8m/year, I'm surprised Cooper didn't squeeze out more.

But I wonder what happened to the short term deal they were all yakking about recently.

Market Value
  • 5 yrs, $98,589,580
  • Avg. Salary: $19,717,916
  • NFL Rank: 24
  • WR Rank: 2

If you think this is a lot, he supposedly turned down a 6-year, $128M deal with $76 guaranteed from the Commanders to stay.

If that's true, I really appreciate the kid even more. He has earned a few "pouts" if that is indeed accurate. LOL Wish nothing but success for him.
