What's your all-too-early grade thus far?

Anyone..............

Sure, Thompson is better than Heath. Not possible to be any worse.
He is actually kind of not.

Thompson was not on the field enough for teams to key on him.

We all hate Heath because he got exploited. That is because he was always out there.

Thompson is a garbage player and a step down, sorry to say.

The one positive?

I have zero idea what Philly is doing. Sure they signed a stud DT but they have big needs at CB and WR and have done zero to address either. It's weird.

This is a very difficult question to answer right now

What is their grade up until now with the understanding that more needs to be done?

Or what is their grade right now even if they do nothing else?

It's two completely different grades if you ask me...

I'd give them a B for the first question and a D or probably even an F for the second question

I cant give a grade until I find out if they even bothered to call SF about Buckner. A 26 year old all pro coming into his prime at a position they are desperate to upgrade. I bet they didn't. And I certainly would have given him the 20 million they just gave to Cooper instead.

We are fortunate. The rest of the NFC East teams are fumbling about like blind moles.

Hargrave was a solid signing. I don't see a lot of needle moving in the rest of the division.

The Giants are trying, bless their hearts.

The Commanders are still the Commanders, even with Rivera.

The Eagles got all weird. They could have got Hopkins but bailed.

I can tell you right now. They didn't call.

Our front office is not especially connected to others in the league and trade relationships are not exactly that strong.

So, grade please.

Agreed. It's effectively overkill at DT, and doing nothing anywhere else. Their secondary is trash and they let Jenkins go, and their DE pass rush hasn't been good for some time.

That's two excellent receivers they had a chance at but inexplicably passed - first Cooper and then Hopkins. Meanwhile, their group is a mess.

A solid C. Could be a C-.

The signing of our own thing is nice until you realize they were all part of last year's failure.

The only outside influence they have introduced is Gerald McCoy.

Sorry, it is going to take more to impress me.
I have a feeling they are holding too tight to those top 105 comps. You can usually use the system and sign guys that got cut. There is usually a strong market there. However with the cap going, there really isnt much in the market of guys who were cut

I get it. They have an organizational philosophy to pour resources into the DL. That's their belief. But Cox and Hargrave mauling people in the middle isn't going to help Wentz complete passes.

I am really surprised they weren't in on the Hopkins deal. They have like 10 picks, so they could have probably moved some things around if they wanted.

That is what bothers me. With effective team management, the Cowboys could distance themselves considering how the rest of the division is adding talent..

Instead, they self-handicap.
