funny. if they could run a billion dollar business better than him, why are they on this forum? wouldn't getting that job be kinda the thought process?

sometimes people just ***** to hear themselves *****.

You're a very literal type of person aren't you?
Jones is great at running a billion dollar business, but he has no business being an NFL GM. Don't hurt yourself trying to figure that out...

And who are you to evaluate Jerrys football sense? What are your qualifications in evaluating him?

He personally was the guy who hired Jimmy. When everybody laughed at him for doing so.

He's also the idiot that ran Jimmy off. Anyone have any doubts this team would probably have won several more SBs with Jimmy? My qualifications are watching him fail since Jimmy left. He's a horrible GM...

Gallup and Amari abused this guy.

In the two games that Slay has lined up against Amari he has averaged 21 yards on 2 receptions. Once with the Lions (1 catch for 4 yards) and last year with Dallas (3 catches for 38 yards). Not saying Slay is all world but not sure who abused who.

They did not. At least Cooper did not. There was a stat that showed Slay shadowed Cooper like 75% of the time and Cooper only had 3 catches in their last game.

This.

I laugh at their failures since their Super Bowl run. Some choose to applaud them. I like to laugh at them. These moves have been poor and I’ve been right on all of them. Cowboys incompetence came from coaching not personnel moves.

His agenda is on point

Looks like Slay will be their #1 CB. Looks like Mills is moving to safety next to McLeod. They don't have any linebackers. Like no one.

The Eagles acquired Darius Slay from the Detroit Lions on Thursday for two draft picks and then agreed to a three-year contract extension with the three-time Pro Bowl cornerback worth $50 million with $30 million guaranteed, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.

Oh, post Super Bowl?

You mean like all the waaay back in 2017?

Yeah, what failures.

Meanwhile, since 1995 [...]

Like I said, dumb as donkeys.
You butted into a conversation that had nothing to do with you. So because you didn't know what was being discussed you look like a fool and you are trying to call someone a donkey? Either stay on topic or mind your business. Or go to a Eagles message board.

LLLOOOLLL, so wonder other teams fans come here, as Ric Flair use to say "It's the best thing going today". Must have been an away game too.

so half the board couldn't do what he does.

got it. all you had to say. you blow things way out of proportion to emotionalize yourself.

Lets be clear here. The eagles secondary as a whole still has major holes they need to fill. Slay is a very good corner. But their overall corner depth isn’t very good and their safeties are really no better than the cowboys at this point in time.

So we shall see what other pieces they add.

I guarantee you that if I took over as GM of the Dallas Cowboys right now, in the next 25 years I could win as many SB's as Jerry has in the last 25 years. I may not be the business man he is, but I could definitely be as crappy a GM as he is. Actually I'd be a better GM because I wouldn't have waited 10 years to fire Garrett...
