Twitter: Everson Griffen shows mutual interest in the Cowboys!

This would be great. Sign him, Send your 1 to NY for Adams, now you're cooking with gas. I know, I know, I'm dreaming...what else do we have to do these days..

You'd better go get tested for "the virus!" lol

It would be a huge mistake to trade for Adams like they are one player away. They need to stay out of that market.

Well they haven't had a player like him since Woody. There are no safeties in this class that are close to him. I think a team with our offense, and Griffen, McCoy, DLaw, Smith, Lee, LVE and Adams should be good enough to beat anyone. Doesn't mean they will, but they would have the talent to. I get the $ difference in Adams and a draft pick, but there is no talent like him that would be there at 17.

hired mercenaries RARELY propel a team to a SB. If ever. Its a team sport. YES, on paper he fits, but would he be a progress stopper of a draftee? We must think about that.

I would LOVE to solidify the offense right now 2 ways. FIRST, get Sanders signed, even if for a year. Lastly, get Daks long-term deal done. STOP FARTING AROUND. We want our starting QB happy and diving into the new offense. We can still go ahead and draft a wr to develop for the slot. Its too deep not to.

Clinton Dix is a poor mans George Teague. Very similar safeties. Teague would absolutely knock your block off and was a solid tackler. Dix picks and chooses when to do those things. But at this point, he looks better than anything we have had around here in years.

DO NOT DISCOUNT Donovan Wilson having a stellar camp and preseason and earning a spot on the 53 and maybe getting into the starting line up. He has some tools and swag about him. I like the kid when he was healthy last year. I am eager to see how much progress his game has made.

Considering DEs typically rotate, how could he be some kind of progress stopper, even if they draft a DE? DEs usally take a couple of years to develop anyway.

Griffen is 32 and going on 33. Unless he is will to take $6 - $7 million with incentives, I say pass.
we agree. It has to be a deal like that or for me, its a no go. His market might dry up if he waits it out. He's gambling by giving an ultimatum to the Vikings. They seem to be moving on from him...leaving just the Browns or us.

I'm definitely not overlooking the potential of Wilson. I like the player and hope that he can come in and contribute.

I think he will have a dominant camp and surprise. Could even push Dix hard. I expect a lot from him,its a fresh slate, new D, new staff. I think the team will be renewed and energized.
