They should sign Sanders........... cut Crawford............. use that money to bring in Griffen. Griffen is a better DE than Crawford.

Crawford’s main position is RDE.

His real main position is LE, but he has played DT and RE when the team needed him to play those spots. He's really not explosive enough pass rusher for the RE spot. Just an early down run stopper there.

He's a tweener. He's not a full time DT either. And most likely, I bet they are thinking he'll be the starting DE.

He has no value at his current contract. Cut him or restructure and bring in a legit DE.

Maybe, but history shows that this probably has a one year deal written all over it. Werder and Fish disagree though.
