Maybe, but i think this is Looney's job to lose. C is a big deal, and typically you want a vet if possible. Frederick came in and did a great job day 1, but i think he is the exception and not the rule. I'd rather see Williams/McGovern battle it out for the LG spot., the loser of that battle likely becomes one of the better backup O lineman in the NFL.

Not ready to say that. Would be nice if Connor Williams could salvage his 2nd round draft status by taking the job.

I see Looney as the Center with McGovern playing left guard with a center/guard drafted in the third round or later in the draft

Obviously it will be him or Looney. Probably need to draft a g/c and tackle at some point in the draft.

Not worth debating until after the draft, but I'm happy we have the guy.

FA isnt done yet either, and if a guy like Leary wants to return, at 2-3m per, the team should do that.

He would be the best LG on the team at this stage.

Smith-Leary-McG-Martin-Collins....with Williams and Looney for depth is a top notch line.

I think Conner Williams will become the swing tackle, thus salvaging his 2nd round status.
