Nothing. He can’t get us anything. He sucks. According to some here we should trade our horrible QB for not one but 2 first round picks lol. And no. Cam Newton can’t.
How about according to you? What kind of draft pick compensation do you think he can net us?

...and I aint' no Cam Newton fan. I'm just saying behind our OL and running game and defense... it doesn't take anything close to the "highest paid player in the NFL" kind of money to get us to 8-8 like Dak did last year.

He will be the highest paid player until later this year and next year when 1-5 other players will probably make more than him.
Yep...that’s the way it works. Shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.

I'm super isolated, but my wife is battling on the front lines, helping to save lives.
I can't even focus on anything from worrying about her.
Work is out the window. I can't focus.
I love her so much.
I support everything she's doing and I know she's more worried about me than I am about myself.
I'm more worried about her than she is about herself.

This place is my respite.
I was two days away from finishing a couple of remodels and get one sold and the other rented. Had to halt that. Honestly, I dont give a crap. I have an older brother that lives in Italy and and 84 year old father that I have to worry about. Crazy times and people are arguing about Dak!!!! Lol!! Thank your wife for her service!!!

This site is a scream.

I'm genuinely intrigued as to why some on here would seemingly wash Dak Prescott's feet every day free of charge.

Is it because he's very durable and he doesn't miss games? Towards the end of his career Romo going down injured and effectively ruining the season put a condition in your head to hate flair, quality and swagger, preferring to go with the durable, regular, solid Joe, Mr percentage play, safe pair of hands? Akin to hot women eventually getting fed up of good looking guys that have the charm and swagger and as a result continually cheat on them. So they eventually settle down with the plain, regular solid guy, average in every way and who most importantly. would never cheat on the hot girl. I.e. he would would never disappoint or let down the hot girl in her eyes. So Prescott could never let you down in your eyes regardless because he's Mr solid and dependable.

Serious question as I would love to know why so many people pm here love Dak Prescott and let's have it right, his background/story is completely irrelevant to playing as a starting QB in the NFL.

So come on, what is it?

Did you ever think that, golly gee, some fans just believe it’s in the teams best interest to keep him as the starter?

Romo's falters in Win-and-Get-In games was a the hot swagger girl cheating on the boyfriend.

If that's your reasoning then fair enough, whilst I do not agree I respect your view.

I'm genuinely interested to know why - is it the durability for most people?

I disagree, they offered him $33/m $105m guaranteed last August. I think that was a very fair deal but he turned it down.
If they did offer Dak that last season it was after the contracts of Wince and Goof which would have been a home town discount. With that said we have no idea what was offered as those reports were rumored and never confirmed by anyone in the know.

Really ? I guess it could have played a role. I’d be more inclined to say they lost because of a 3rd and long pass to hill for 50 yards or close to that . So their strength let them down

They had a chance to win the game late, miscommunication, no player showing up, and bad passes by Jimmy G caused the loss. The defense held off Mahomes as best as they could.

Not arguing, just stating a fact. He's gonna be your QB!!!!! Like it or not, and you'll kiss his butt when he wins!!!!! Smooch!! Be safe!
He won’t and neither will the rest of us. We don’t have no worries , because overpaying Dak will lead to years of bad football teams. We are getting a taste of the players that will be lost in Quinn and Jones. It will only get worse from here.

I would have no issue rolling with Cam Newton for the right price. I prefer Dalton as he would be peanuts and he could get done what needs to in this offense but Newton would add the duel threat.

When then you should be worried.

Lol. So the losses are on him and the wins are on the team? I see how it works

In my view the O-Line was at it's strongest in 2016. It was sensational and Prescott wasn't asked to win games. just not to lose them.

I think it's the lack of TO's.
And I think it goes back to Romo.
He had the propensity to throw that heartbreaking pick at the worst time and peeps remember that.
Dak comes in and he's seemingly less TO prone and fans appreciated it.

Durability is one thing too, but I think it's appreciating a player who plays not to lose vs a player who played to win, but it sometimes backfired.

I think it's all the same, but for the aesthetics.
