So that record is Dak’s and Dak’s alone?

Good news for Dak! That means his 40-24 overall record... is HIS record.

2nd-most wins in the NFL since 2016.

Are you Dak’s agent!?!?
So the 1-6 record against winning teams doesn’t bother you . ?And Dak had no role in the losses ? I wonder why we should pay him 37 million a year if he is so irrelevant in these games .

Who are these “Dak People”? Are you trying to insinuate something else with a piss poor play on words?
You truly have No Clue Who Dak people are?

They are the ones who shut down a critical and honest discussion of the Cowboys QB with an accusation of "Hater".

They are the ones who take it personality whenever Dakota's play on the field is disected. They never say one critical thing about him.

These are the same people who continuously throw Romo under the Bus even though He hasnt taken a snap in over 3 years.

These Dak Fans are openly Hostile to anything seen as a slight against Dak. They blame everyone & anyone on the team whenever Dak struggles

A 7-game sample size outweighs his entire career now?
:lmao2:

Your stupid stat is wrong anyways, genius. Dallas beat Philly and the Rams last year, so that’s 2 wins vs winning teams.

We’re paying him what we’re paying him because that’s the market value for young franchise QBs.

Cry about it all you’d like. Dak wins, you lose.

When has Dak ever had the benefit of the doubt from fans? He didn't have it last year at 500k a year so why should he care?

Yeah but Aaron Rodgers and Drew Bree's haven't always strived and they were the highest paid and were allowed to have excuses.....

He's had it his entire career. He has literally never not had it.

And so I'll ask you what I asked another poster. If its his job to motivate and elevate than what in the hell do we have head coaches for? What are positional coaches for?

This is another one of those overrated silly observations that one day some mediot brought up on First take or some other ESPN show and fans have ran with it. There is no stat that shows you a quarterback "elevates" or "motivates" his team. There's none. Its opinion based. I guess whatever quarterback didn't make the playoffs they lacked being a leader lol.
IDK brother,, just watching the game how its played,, KCs defense if you watched them early in the season really sucked, average at best,,,
A very talented leader picked that team up and carried them to the playoffs, and that D really started balling out al the way to a SB title...
So IDK brother, all I do is see what my eyes see,, and I watch a lot of football,, some may find that strange, but I got mass dvr storage and I watch every game, every season, every team,, its an affliction I don't like to brag about,,, my wife thinks Im insane,, I probably am,,, lol
just saying,, I don't ever expect anyone to agree with me,, its always just an opinion,,, but I can guarantee you, that its not an uneducated opinion...

Yeah, I just don't live for excuses or allow them to stop me. Dak has had it better then most QBs in the NFL and he's had it much, much better then any QB I can recall in Dallas. To pretend otherwise is just that. It's a pretend make believe thing.

It's not all roses and lollipops but if that's what you wanted out of life, then you shouldn't be in the NFL in the first place.

Life isn't as black and white as you. make it seem though. Its like Romo. Romo didn't have much success here. Do you put that on him or are there "excuses"? There are reasons for everything. There's a explanation for everything. Dak has had it good. Garrett sucks. He's had some of the worst coaching I've seen in the league. I'm amazed he's made it thus far with it. They waited until 2019 to give Dak a QB coach. Let the sink in.

No man,, as his play elevated, he became that team leader,, it was a progressive event.. if you have access, watch it for yourself, and then set back and ask the question.

The defense played better before he did lol. He didn't catch on fire until later in the season. Not only that but look at the Super Bowl....he started off slow. His defense was bailing him out.

It's on Tony and Jerry. I feel the same way about Tony Romo as I do about Dak. I watch what is going on with Dak and I see Romo all over again. We over paid Tony and the result was that we were a weak team with very little depth across the board. Tony and his salary did not help the team over all. That's the truth. It will be that same truth with Dak.

But since you bring it up, let this sink in. If Dallas had a competent Coaching Staff at the time Dak was drafted, he's probably not the starter in his Rookie year. He's probably sitting on the bench. You look at our Coaching Staff and you immediately come to the conclusion that it wasn't to the benefit of Dak. Well, how do you know? I see it very differently. End of job, get it done or be prepared to face the music. That's where he's at right now, like it or not.

For the record, I didn't want it this way and it didn't have to be this way.

Romo, Dez are old news, stop the comparison. As for Lawrence and Zeke, I agree, however, that does not mean that Dak has to be that greedy.

What's with the personal attacks on him when you have zero insight into any of the discussions?

It's funny how Dak lost those games, and the other 53 players got screwed by it.
It’s funny how a Dak gets credit for winning so many games when he is surrounded by all that talent.

Did Bellicheat stick with Bledsoe when he had Brady? Did Pete Carroll stick with Matt Flynn when he has Russ? I’m not gonna blame Romo for poor coaching.

Yes, it's great to win with a over achieving QB on a cheap rookie contract, but this is not the norm as you know. The one thing that irritates me when people evaluate our success or lack thereof over the last few years, they always seem to put too much criticism on individual moving parts as opposed to our lame duck coach. Yes I know that Garrett got his fair share of laughs, but to me it all ends with Garrett. I think our team has been lucky to have had much of any success with such a mediocre and soft head coach. Just look at when we played the Rams in the playoffs, heck Dak wasn't great but our defense was an abomination. Dak started coming back in that game but the defense folded. If the defense shut out the rams 2nd half and Dak stayed on pace that would of been a great win for him and the team.

Dak has shown that he isn't a 2nd string caliber QB when he helped Romo retire. The guy was literally so good that Romo could never get back on the field. If you look at his winning percentage and his QBR that is enough to tell you he is far from a talented 2nd stringer. If you look at where were at right now realistically, Dak is a great option to have because there isn't anyone out there right now thats available that will come in and do what he can do. I do love Dak, he is my favorite players so I'm a bit biased, but I like Dak for all that he encompasses. You can't really blame Dak for playing the game and trying to get as much as he can, this might be his one and only big payday. If the money is there, you gotta go for it.
Dak don’t have a winning percentage. The team has a percentage, but no one player wins games.

I don't doubt that. If you did, then you would have to find fault with Dak and we both know that's not gonna happen.

What is the point of Bledsoe and Flynn? What does that have to do with anything?

I wondered that too. I thought all Cowboy fans were Dak guys. Silly me lol.
Yeah, you were silly to assume that. You don’t have to like every player on the team to be a fan of the team, especially when a player is going to hurt the team in the long run.

That's pretty funny since Aikman only had TWO season with a better completion percentage than Prescott last season and one of those years it was 65.3 to Prescott's 65.1. Prescott's worst season was 62.9, Aikmans worst season was 52.9. Prescott's rookie season he was 67.8, Aikman's was that 52.9. I guess that Aikman had an accuracy problem then too.
.
Aikman only had an accuracy problem to those that don’t know how much the game has changed in the last 30 years.

How many Cowboys players actually believe if they fall behind in must-win games; there is a great chance Dak can lead them back to victory?
