Life isn't as black and white as you. make it seem though. Its like Romo. Romo didn't have much success here. Do you put that on him or are there "excuses"? There are reasons for everything. There's a explanation for everything. Dak has had it good. Garrett sucks. He's had some of the worst coaching I've seen in the league. I'm amazed he's made it thus far with it. They waited until 2019 to give Dak a QB coach. Let the sink in.
I bet you didn’t complain about Garrett’s coaching when the Cowboys won the division.

It’s funny how a Dak gets credit for winning so many games when he is surrounded by all that talent.
That is a seemingly never ending back and forth. There are some that will look at wins as defining a QB, some will look at stats, and some will look at whichever side fits the narrative they are telling at the time.

For those that want to be fair minded, neither is a stand alone way to evaluate a QB, and even taken together there are flaws. After all, it is a team game. Granted, the QB is in a position to influence games more than other positions, but winning and losing is still a function of the overall talent, coaching and execution.

Dak don’t have a winning percentage. The team has a percentage, but no one player wins games.
I 100% agree with you here, I've always argued that fact. The problem Dak has, is he may have some incredible games and take the top off a defense, but
as soon as the defense sucks for a few games, and then he has a bad game it's all Dak's fault and everyone forgets how great he has been. I seriously fault
our coaching for the inconsistency in the past, it should of never been that bad.

Yeah, you were silly to assume that. You don’t have to like every player on the team to be a fan of the team, especially when a player is going to hurt the team in the long run.
You don't. Like I said above that I guess you missed...I didn't like Jeff Heat or Witten. But I was a Witten guy because if Witten did well that means we did well. I didn't root for him to play bad he just did.

It's funny that ALL of those losses some blame ENTIRELY on Prescott yet it's never get brought up that the Cowboys receivers led the league in drops or Elliott had 6 subpar games of 60 or fewer yards, one game with a total on 35 yards on 18 carries, or the defense that did a poor job of getting 3 and outs but instead they let teams get some 1st downs so when they finally did stop them after punting the Cowboys start out on their own 10 - 15 yard line having to go 85-90 yards to get TD's and there are few teams that on a regular basis go 85-90 yards every time for TD's. And then there was one of the worst special teams in the league. Ya it's real easy to blame Prescott for all the losses to bad there were plenty of other reasons for those losses.
.
there are obviously many deficiencies with this team . Zeke underperformed, jason's management , spotty defense etc etc. But Dak is the QB and was never the difference when the team needed him. When the team played cupcakes and streamrolled weaker opponents he was the bus driver . Now the team needs to fix a lot of weaknesses and cannot do it becasue our star QB wants all the money .

Did Bellicheat stick with Bledsoe when he had Brady? Did Pete Carroll stick with Matt Flynn when he has Russ? I’m not gonna blame Romo for poor coaching.

Did you not say this?

But since you bring it up, let this sink in. If Dallas had a competent Coaching Staff at the time Dak was drafted, he's probably not the starter in his Rookie year.

I brought up 2 competent coaches who took quarterbacks later in the draft and had a guy in front of them they heavily invested in and they still didn't give them their jobs back.

So the 1-6 record against winning teams doesn’t bother you . ?And Dak had no role in the losses ? I wonder why we should pay him 37 million a year if he is so irrelevant in these games .

Why do you keep saying his stat is 1-6?Where are you getting this stat from?

Yeah, I did but again I ask, what does what you posted have to do with anything? Belichick drafted Brady and sat him on the bench. He didn't start as a rookie because competent coaches know that it's not a great idea to do that with a young QB most of the time.

Why would Carroll stick with Flynn? Matt Flynn never started a game for Seattle. What exactly was Carroll going to stick with where Flynn is concerned?

So again I ask, what exactly is your point with those two guys?

I just TOLD YOU why I brought them up.

So the problem here is that Dak was a rookie even though he didn't play like one? So what they should've signed a veteran and put him in for Romo? This makes no sense. Its not Dak's fault their quarterback's body was breaking down and they didn't invest in quarterbacks sooner. He did his job.

And you aren't remember well with Matt Flynn.

Seahawks signed Matt Flynn to a 3 year 20 million dollar deal because they only had Tavaris Jackson and a rookie Russel Wilson. They loved him enough to give him that contract and he was projected to be the starter. He went with Russell Wilson the team looked better with him than they did Flynn.

You say he didn't play like one. I say that he was never going to even be the starter if not for injuries and if not for the Coaching Staff we had then, there is a very good possibility that he would not have been the starter year one. I mean hey, I'm not the one complaining about the coaching staff or making excuses, that's you. I'm asking you how you can prove that it was a bad thing rather then a good thing for Prescott? A question, BTW, you still haven't answered.

I am aware of the fact that Flynn was signed but so what, he never ever started a single game for Seattle. What is anybody gonna stick with him for? He was projected by who to be the starter? I never heard anybody on the Seattle staff say that. The competition was open for the starting QB position.

Wait you are saying without the injuries? Of course he wouldn't have without the injuries. But fact is there were injuries and Romo was getting hurt in his last few years in the league. Brady probably doesn't come into the game in 2001 if Bledsoe doesn't get hurt. But he did.

So you think they signed Flynn to a 3 year 20 million dollar deal to be a backup to Russell Wilson who was competing for a starting job?

What excuses did I make? The coaching staff sucked. That's why they are gone now. It wasn't because they were good.

And what question are you asking me? Was what a bad thing for Prescott?

What is this supposed to prove?

So if I said, "People who are honest and say things other people don't want to hear are often not received well. People who are "yes men" and often say exactly what they think every wants to hear often turn to politics and get a lot of likes." what do you think that would prove?

That's what you base my posts on, my like's counts? Dak-rocyaice, your obsession just has to be something other than Dak's QB skills. Try honing your reading and comprehension skills! Nobody said "coach up players"! That's uhh...oh yeah not the same as "elevate" the players around him, which he does not do unless he has elite talent around him! God god, dude! Your obsession with Dak is beyond belief.

Hey, all you fellow posters, Dak-rocyaice say's it's not Dak's job to elevate the players around him. What a tool...there is something else going on with your love affair with Dak, many of us poster see that because it's so transparent.

Who is in your avatar? Don't you think it's about time to put a picture of your lover boy, Dak, in there instead? smdh!
