He completely disappeared with a playoff berth and new contract on the line and still got 100 million. Rex isn’t wrong here. He’s a good WR, but he needs to be a clutch WR through January. For that money, Cowboys should’ve let him Walk!

I like him too for around 12 mil/season.

Who wouldn't!

I'd love to get this ride:

but at a price that you'd normally get one of these:

It was a reasonable deal (cap will continue to go up) that will allow us an out after two years of Cooper continues his hot/cold home and away splits.

Only a classless turd like Rex sees fit to make a comment like that!
Injuries are simply a blameless accident that shouldn't be criticized.
Rex is an expert of feet but not much else

That's good to know.

I do like the way Stephen has started to insert logic into contracts. He's the reason we didn't overpay for Dez.

his daddy dumped hofer chris carter. and I truly believe the plethora of nagging injuries contributed to coopers effectiveness late in the season. nothing a route runner needs more than leg, foot and ankle injuries.

It amazes me how the injuries seem to get overlooked by many. Cooper was struggling to play last year, literally limping between downs during some games. Some of his performances clearly were hampered by that, especially when he had to go up against good corners while playing 70 percent healthy (at best).

My only concern is some of these lower-body injuries appear to be chronic for him.

Exactly. He got around 20 million from us and would've got 22 from the Commanders.

But hey. "We should've only paid him 8-10 million less per year"

Not sure I agree with this.
The

Please draft a receiver in the first round unless you trade for Jamaal Adams.

Though Coop struggled, how much was injury related? The whole team struggled in big games.
Just goes to show when there is nothing to talk about let’s trash the Cowboys for Ratings and clicks. Wait until Dak gets paid.
The talking heads and this forum will explode!

Look, if your a Cowboys hater injuries don’t matter. But if you love the Eagles injuries do. I notice Cowboys Zoners seem to agree with the talking heads and Eagles lovers. You all make me laugh.
