But the thing is, one player actually being a year in, year out work horse trumps simply assuming it with another player. So, while it’s true Murray didn’t get the same chance as Zeke to be that every year workhorse, the reality is we don’t know how it would have worked out if he did. It may have worked out great, or maybe not, but in any case we can’t give him credit as if he had done it anyway.
And no, I didn’t take Zekes best stats from different seasons. I don’t know where you got that from because I said I used his stats from his best season, just like you used Murray’s stats from his best season, and that’s what I did,
Absolutely Murray was a better citizen/role model, took a lower draft pick and was less expensive than Zeke, but we were talking about who we thought was the better RB, not who was a better guy or a better draft value or who was cheaper. I don’t have a problem giving Murray better marks in those areas, and as I said from the beginning, I think he is close as a RB as well. There is no landslide for either guy that I can see.
