No he's actually smaller. I'm from MA so I've seen him out a few times over the years at events, clubs, etc and he's lost a good chunk of mass from his playing days. Can't see him handling much inline work anymore. He's likely purely a 3rd down and redzone move TE.
For a 4th round pick....that seems extreme. Basically you describe what we should've got from Witten last year. For a 4th? I guess it will help since they have BRate or Howard there but yikes. I'm not trading a 4th for a part time player but that every well may be the case.

In the NFC? I'm not buying it. They were very beatable last year with their D and Bill. Brady is a year older, and no chance will Gronk play even half the season with them. To me this is all about public relations....if I'm wrong I am wrong, but this isn't Brady/Gronk from the past

You apparently know little about the Bucs team. Talent isn't close to being an issue. There's plenty of talent on both sides of the ball. In fact, they were probably 10 less Winston interceptions from making the playoffs. Todd Bowles D has a couple of warts but they were solid. Bucs will win a min 10 games if Brady stays healthy. That may or may not be enough to make the playoffs. But to say Brady and Gronk don't make the Bucs a better team than Winston is ridiculous.

I'm with you. I don't see it.

Rocy......you do realize the Bucs were just a Winston fewer interceptions from making the playoff last season. In fact, he's the only reason. Trust me, I live in the area code. At least 3-4 of his interception were directly responsible for losses. Can't imagine how Brady or hell almost anyone, wouldn't be an upgrade. There's a reason Winston is STILL looking for work.

Brady has a couple of years to get a ring - well worth giving him Gronk for a 4th to assist in that quest.

Well jesus Brate, Godwin, Evans and OJ Howard isn't enough?
Indeed but the chemistry they have is just invaluable really.

Brady can't complain about not having enough weapons to throw the ball to this season!

He's looking for work because of things outside of his control. His coach set him up to fail. It was a make or break year for him but for Arians it was a year he could afford to suck.

Instead of leaning on the running game more they threw it and threw it until he threw himself out of a job. Factor in his leadership concerns.....

I think if Brady threw it as much as Winston did he too would have a grip of interceptions.

IN order for this to work I Don't think Arians is the coach for it IMO. Mind you I'm not saying they won't make the playoffs. I Think this group will underachieve. We see it time and time again. Stacked teams fail for whatever reason.

In this league one thing that consistently is shown to win is teams and players that are hungry and great coaching staffs. It doesn't matter who the personnel is.

This is true but I don't know what he's expecting from Gronk at this point. Godwin and Evans are a luxury they need to take advantage of.

And it’s the move we should’ve done.

We should’ve traded for Minkah Fitzpatrick like I said.

We should’ve gone for Brady and go all in the next 2 years like I said.

Next up is not drafting Tua..

All of these “smart” decisions will keep us on the path to mediocrity.

The Steelers now have one of the best young DBs in football.

The Bucs now have a chance at a Super Bowl..

We have.. McCarthy and some Rookies as upgrades.

Is CBD allowed under the new marijuana policy? I imagine it is. Tom can get hgh from his sketchy doctor under those fast and loose Florida rejuvenation clinic laws.

I find it amazing how some teams can keep a secret and shock the world with player moves etc. The Cowboys prefer to hold press conferences to announce the painting and maintenance schedule for Jerry's yacht.

If you lived in Tampa this was not a secret or a shock. They have been talking about getting Gronk and him wanting to play with Brady for weeks now. They all said it was just a matter of when not if.

As for Howard, they also say there are 5 or 6 teams that have shown interest (Commanders, Bears, among them) in trading for him. He will not be cheap. Not a first rounder mind you, but he won't be had for a late round pick either.

You got to let the plan unfold. They haven't been smart. That's the problem. 'smart decisions' were minimal.

I live down here too. You are correct, it was 3 games that a pick-6 from him was literally the difference in the score. As for the other side of the ball, that defense was playing top 5 during the last 6 games of the year (all they talk about on 620) and most of it is coming back. They should be a pretty good team this year. Not sure about superbowl bound but they will be in the playoff dance.
