I mean, look at what Lynch did with Kinlaw. He really didn't need a D player either, but he went BPA.

I hate he did it, but yeah, there's something to be said for that approach.

BPA is a stupid philosophy. Take BPA at positions of need. Overlay value. If BPA was RB you would not take them.
Agreed about RB.
But sometime the BPA just also happens to be at a position of need.

Something tells me Mike McCarthy knows our positions of need more than you do.

Can’t-miss talent at a skill position.

Lamb can play all three WR spots and will push Cooper and Gallup to up their games.

mattjames is upset at the pick?

Color me stunned.

I mean, what exactly is to love about it? It's a skill position and we already have Gallup and Cooper (who we just signed)

People have too much confidence in Awuzie, Lewis, Ha Ha, and our disappointing LB group. I guess I'm just weird with thinking you need studs at safety and the interior rather than continuing to try and find bargain bin guys on their 4th team in FA.

This reminds me a little of the 1988 draft.

Michael Irvin may not have been Dallas' initial choice at #11, but he was still on the board, BPA when Dallas picked, and to their credit, they took him. Mind you, this was before Jerry and Jimmy. It was still the Landry and and Gil Brandt era, long past their prime when it came to the draft.
