Absolutely having Lamb would have helped win those games. Lamb can start day 1 and when you add Cooper and Gallup that means teams will not be able to stack the box against Zeke.

Dallas was going to draft Chaisson by the way but when Lamb made it to 17 you take him. He is a top 5-8 talent overall in this draft. Can't believe people are upset at drafting Lamb, it's one of the biggest steals so far.
A plus.

So WHAT elite defensive player would you have taken? Would you have been giddy if Lamb went to the Eagles?
Adams the safety... trade your first

best safety this team has had since woody hung up the cleats

Horrible pick. We just lost our best CB/ Safety and we go for glamour?

Your thoughts
I was along the most vocal advocates for an all defense draft for the first three rounds but in on board for the Lamb pick

Oncs Lamb slid it was a no brainer. I never thought he’d make it to us since he’s the best WR in the draft.

If CJ Henderson was there or Isaiah Simmons, then I would have been upset if they didn’t take them but I was never a big believer in Chaisson and the only other option really was to try to treads down

I wanted defense but not too mad about lamb.. the only defenses Dallas has had since the 90s was 07 17-18-19

Do you think a WR would have made a difference against LA in the playoffs in 2018?.

I think that if our coaching staff would have adjusted at halftime to them pounding our gaps for the first two quarters would have won us the game.

Picking guys to fill a need is how you end up with taco charlton and trysten hill.

Dallas made a no-brainer decision last night. Acquire the best talent, then figure out to best use it.

I don't know. I guess I'm in the minority but when I watch Lambs game film I'm just not super impressed. Hopefully I'm wrong, but with so many bigger needs it seems like a foolish pick to me.

The guy was arguably the best wr on his team as a freshman. He played with 3 different QBs in 3 years and got better every year. Most productive WR in the draft.

This thinking is what gives you Taco... Lamb was by FAR the best player available. You don't pass on Deandre Hopkins, because of your needs and just take "solid players" . Besides the fact that every safety is still available.

and who would that have been that would have a greater impact than CeeDee? i totally agree we need defensive help. totally. like gag me with a linebackers jockstrap type stuff. fur sure.

but there was no "impact player on D" that there was in what CeeDee will be able to do. we have the rest of the draft to focus on our needs as well as offseason trades and pick ups.

so should we have taken the safety that lasted the entire first round and no one else wanted and gone WHEEEE WE FIXED DA D!?

that makes zero sense.

Let me fix this. Dallas didn't massively reach for a second round talent, while they got an elite prospect and yet here we can come to complain.
