He’s a maliek Collins clone relax. 1st two picks were great but Gallimore is a border line future starter in this league. I guess you could say it’s good value in 3rd but pump the brakes.

No, that’s good enough for you.

pro bowl caliber center. This team is built in the oline. No backup or converted center.

In order for a team to win a Super Bowl is it a requirement for them to have a probowl caliber center? The answer is no. So yes it will be fine enough

If you took the names off these profiles, the first one seems more like a 2nd or 3rd rounder, and the second one sounds more like a 3rd or 4th... fwiw.

Hills problem is not talent and traits, his problem is effort on the field and attitude.

Like the pick. Solid upside pick at a position of need. Athletic DT who could be a steal if he can become more consistent. Great athlete with good sideline-to-sideline speed. Has to improve his hand-work and consistency. Struggles a bit against the run but has great burst off the line in pass rush. Could be a real player a couple years down the line.

Grade: B

Sensational pick! I give this an A! I hoped for Elliott, but Gallimore is a monster! He's a big player, and he's strong. I wonder if the plan is to have McCoy as a DE? Oh, and we now have 2 Canadians on DLine!

Grading Neville Gallimore Pick
Matt Miller says Gallimore could be Cowboys' third DT right now, gives Dallas a B+

Time will tell of course, but at least on paper it appears the Cowboys have obtained excellent value through the first three rounds.

Lamb was a perennial top ten choice among analysts. Every big board I've seen lists Diggs as a first rounder. Gallimore has been listed from the top to the middle of the 2nd round.

I'm Jerry's harshest critic but if I want to consider myself a fair person then I have to give credit to the man. So far, I think the Cowboys deserve a very good grade. Not only are they quality players but nobody can accuse them of not trying to fill their needs. All these guys are going to provide immediate help.

That's what we seem to get with third-round DTs we pick ... Crawford-level players. Maybe we'll hit on this one to be more than that.

Hills problem is not talent and traits, his problem is effort on the field and attitude.

His problem to me looks to be primarily poor technique, which could reflect attitude. When he's on the field, he chases after plays and doesn't give up, so the effort is there. He just doesn't seem to know how to use it well. Perhaps he doesn't practice hard or doesn't take to coaching well.

What I saw from his college film that held true last year is that he doesn't keep his base square, allowing offensive linemen to turn him out of the way and use momentum against him. I expected that, though, because it's difficult to change your technique. What I was surprised by was how little burst he showed off the snap.

Can't help but notice that "hustle" was listed as a Hill strength... just sayin.

He does hustle, he just doesn't know how to use the physical ability that he has.

It's been a long time since we could feel good about players coming in with potential AND having a coach who knows how to maximize that potential.
