Broaddus just mentioned on the Draft show that he’s heard that Aldon Smith has a better chance of being reinstated than Randy Gregory.

With Broaddus you always take it FWIW, but after he passed along the info Dave Helman backed him up and said he heard the same thing.

If he was Dallas wouldn't be fighting for him. You don't see the team backing David Irving.

Gregory is still a Cowboys' player only suspended. Irving was never re-signed or tendered last year making him a free agent. So I wouldn't necessarily make an inference based on that. One is a Cowboy, the other is not.

That said I not saying he (Gregory) was doing anything beyond what has been reported either.

Gregory told the Cowboys he had no problem with pot when they drafted him. He lied to them! Obviously the NFL hasn’t been sympathetic to him. You and I need to end this discussion here to avoid turning this thread completely upside down.

Maybe im wrong, but hasnt it been reported that Gregory has never been diagnosed with any mental health problems?
